We decided to go see this church today and also took the dog nice walk upto the church with some stunning scenery! Once at the church we took it in turns to go inside ( as we didn't want to take the dog in) we were amazed at the building and the peacefulness of it Well worth a visit even... More

After a gap of probably almost 10 years, decided to take the walk to the Chapel once more. Bit hard to find; you have to go past the Church in Bradwell on Sea. The walk from the small parking area took less time than we remember. Even if you are not "religious", the inside of the Chapel is very moving.... More

A fascinating place to visit. There is a free car park and a half mile walk to navigate along a narrow path, which is quite bumpy for buggies or wheelchairs. The small chapel was built in 654AD. We were able to look inside and it really is a quaint, humbling experience. There is a timetable inside the chapel for Sunday... More

This small chapel over-looking the Blackwater Estuary looks from a distance like a large, old barn. Get closer and you can see that it's an ancient structure, part of a once larger church building.
