We throughly enjoyed the spacious, tastefully arranged gallery in Rye High Road. Richard Adams humorous pastels brought smiles and giggles, especially the airborne mermaids and garden hedge trimmers. The houses and buildings portrayed were entertaining too.

This gallery spreads over three floors and shows work by many local artists in a wide range of media and at affordable prices. The ceramics, glass and jewellery are displayed temptingly and the walls are hung with a lot of different picture styles, some abstract, some 3-D, some local views. You can browse undisturbed but knowledgeable staff are there to... More

My husband is an artist, so we made a bee line for this gallery. It is beautifully laid out with so much to see. Pottery, jewellery, cards, paintings etc. The lady in charge made us welcome and we chatted for some time. We bought a couple of things and would definitely return.

Always an excellent and interesting exhibit on display which changes regularly. Lots if items available to buy from local artists - great quality and the opportunity to acquire something unique and interesting. Well worth visiting.

There are some fantastic artists on show in this ever changing gallery. Prices are often a bit steep it has to be said but it is always interesting even if you are not buying. A wonderful permanent collection as well

This gallery was a nice surprise for us in High Street. Beautiful, interesting and funny art on display and to buy. The Permanent Collection in the back was less interesting for us. Worth spending some time here.

Local artists have lots of things to see and buy - very interesting. A spacious interior - it goes back further than you think from the outside and affords good views to the River Rother. A welcome change from all the antique shops and tea shops.

bright and airy and a perfect place to showcase new artists and also more established ones in the lower gallery and upstairs the more formal gallery for historical older masters. In the lower gallery you can purchase pictures, jewellery, statues, china, and all sorts of art and pieces for small amounts of money to build up your collection to hopefully have... More

There are two sides to the art gallery - the permament collection, and the new "wing" which has stunning art for sale. The current display is of larger peices, which are fabulous, but we couldn't quite afford the price-tags of the R.A. accredited artist! Still, maybe next time. Lovely bright gallery, with the attendant very knowledgable and chatty. She genuinely... More
