Took my 3 children and 3 year old nephew for a treat as I had been told it had been recently refurbished and cleaned. Was a lot cleaner then I remember and they have added a new play area for younger children...however whilst I was sitting nursing my youngest in the restaurant area one of my older children came running... Visited here yesterday after vowing never to go again because of the poor service received with my first son. But thought I'd give it a go with my second child & again disappointed! It's mainly the staff employed that let it down, the kitchen staff were so rude & abrupt! I work in customer service & if I treated my... More

So we arrived and it was downhill from there. First of all we were attended to by the manager of the day on the front desk, who considering she worked in an establishment for children was not friendly. There was a sign spelt incorrectly at the entrance, great and instills confidence. Next we were told we may not cut our... More

Hi Elizabeth. You was asked not to cut your cake in the play area because it is carpeted. If you had booked a party with us you would of been taken into the party room for food, cake, party dances etc. We do have families bringing their own cakes but the kids drop it everywhere and we then get moaned... Took my young son we did have fun it was ok and the food was obviously microwave stuff but not the end of the world. And good hot chocolate. My only issue was it took 10 mins for someone to let me out because they were all sat at tables talking. But it feels longer when you are trying to... More

Paid to go and it is reasonably priced if everything is open to be fair. However the outside part I.e. splash pool outside play was not open as the grass might be wet. I explained to the lady that it is 21 degrees outside it hasn't rained in 2 days and its 1pm in the afternoon. The lady said children... More

Went to Clambers a couple of days ago with 4 grandchildren - £31. There were no windows open, and the place was stifling. I asked if the doors to the outside play area could be open, and was told no- they couldn't chance any of the kids going out there, as it had been raining and they might slip!!! Ok... More

Went to Clambers with my son, it's the only indoor playarea I've had to pay to watch him play!! Waited an hour & half for food, which just didn't arrive. Eventually asked for a refund & left. My son didn't enjoy himself as not only was it too busy, kids not supervised by staff, but he went hungry. Only went... More

Hi Sue. Sorry to hear you was not happy with your visit. All the food is cooked to order and when it is busy it can cause a wait. It is the only fair way of doing food we can't just put people in front of others. Regarding watching the children we are not a creche Sue, parents are expected... More

We took our 16 month old son to play for an hour or so. He really enjoyed the section for the under 5's age group. A good ball pool, climbing frame and a 'assault course'. Only downside to this section is that children over 5 were also using it; difficult for the venue to police I appreciate, just wish some... More

Have never gave a bad review before however I found this place to be so bad that I felt I had to let people know. The place has the potential to be really good however the cleanliness and the staff really let the place down. The place desperately needs a deep clean and the toilets are a complete disgrace and... Hi Sean, sorry to hear you was not happy with your visit. We do deep clean Clambers and also have visits from the council for inspections as well as ROSPA to check the play frame. You must understand that if you come in in the afternoon we have already had lots of children in so the building will not look... More
