Nice little adventure

We chose to come here since the weather wasn't great and i was quite surprised with how much the kids enjoyed it. Worth a visit.

It was nice to walk through the caves, and there were some good parts. I think the price is a bit steep for what is there. It lacked something considering the price charged. The shop had all the usual touristy bits, and the staff were too busy talking and larking about to deal with any customers. I won't be returning.

Best for children of 9+ probably as there is a lot about smuggling history for them to take in. Over the years we have taken many children to the Caves and the visits have always been successful. If you have time it's cheaper to buy combined tickets with the Castle. I now try to look at the Caves through a... More

We went on a rainy day as something to do. The experience took about an hour and some elements were interesting and factual. It is definitely aimed at older children and adults, my children found it boring and my three year old cried because it was so dark! You have to pay for children over three and to be honest... More

An ok experience and I am glad we did it. It was a good walk through the caves and an interesting history lesson. However I thought the price a bit steep for what it was. It was entertaining but lacked a wow factor for the price charged.

We took 4 kids under 10 and although they were ok, I think I found it more interesting. If you want to find out more about smuggling in the area and the caves below is worth a visit. I think it needs a little tlc cos it could be really interesting

Take the lift from the old town, an experience in itself, to these vast caves. Well worth a visit. The kids will love the caves and want to go again ... You will too.

Daughter loved it. Could be bigger but we had discount tickets. Fascinating that jazz bands played there in the fifties!

Very disappointed that several of the interactive attractions were 'Out of Order'. I took 3 children, 3 5 and 9. The 3 year old didn't like it. Not particularly interesting for small children. Not value for money and I shall not be recommending it, or going again, as I would rather have spent the money elsewhere. Don't go if you... More

For what you pay it is not worth it, you can spend your money elsewhere. Upon arrival went paid and went through some dark smelly caves no guidance. Kids hated it
