We got vouchers for £2 off admission and I'm glad because it wouldn't have been worth it at full price. It was scarier than I thought tho! My 6 year old cried but the younger one and older one found it interesting. In and out within the hour - not bad tho

Loved it here. There is so much history here and the kids were gripped from the moment we walked in. kids ages 10 down to 3. There are some interactive parts to the caves and nice to walk around. Didnt cost the earth and we all really enjoyed the day out. Fairly short attraction, took us about an hour and... More

Family visit with 2 teens, was worried may not have enough to keep them entertained, but it did! Interesting information given by 'Hairy Jack' and interactive displays fun for the young and the young at heart! Some of the displays and interactive games could do with updating and mending. Family ticket not too badly priced.

Great place to visit for all the family, the kids loved it as did we! Son still talks about it now and is larger than you'd expect and great gift shop. Would recommend a visit

I have to say that for the price they charge I expected more. I found the whole place a bit tired and run down, (apart from the brightly lit gift shop at the end). Quite a few of the tableaux weren't working properly, nor were several of the "arcade games". Children of primary school age would probably enjoy the experience... More

Ok.....I am too old for such corny humour...but...here I go.....I enjoyed the Smugglers Cave, but.....there should definitely be a ghost drummer walking towards you, when viewing that part......there was some bedraggled soul knocking over a safety cone, (which I put back in its rightful place)....but, not very scary......ok, maybe to a thirteen year old.... Not too bad at all, but... More

Way better than it may at first seem. This (self guided)Labyrinth of secret tunnels and passageways is well worth looking at when visiting Hastings - You really get a feel of what it was like for those who dared use these underground caverns for Smuggling. Most of the areas you are able to stand without a problem, and some of... More

Really surprised by how much we enjoyed this. It is essentially several big dark caves. However the friendly staff, thoughtful interactive displays and theatrical and imaginative exhibits really bring alive an experience that is steeped in history, humour, and atmosphere. I never knew smuggling and finding ways to get smuggled goods was such an integral part of life for normal... More

We visited the Smugglers Adventure last month with our boys ages 9 and 14 and they really enjoyed it. It is pitch dark in the caves when you first get in to the main room and it will take you a few minutes to adjust, so just stand still and don't panic, especially if that sort of things freaks you...
