Price reasonable (you can often get a £1 off online voucher too), the caves are so impressive and huge, I was amazed! Different displays in each cave, and some entertaining interactive things to play with too. It's all dated technology but that makes it quite quaint and more enjoyable in a way! Would definitely recommend to anyone going to Hastings.... More

Actually I love the smugglers adventure and have been visiting this attraction for 15 years and in this time nothing has changed. They need to modernize a little to entertain the next generation of tech savvy kids.

This was unexpectedly good and very unique. We all really enjoyed the experience and would go back. If they had more room it could do with a good pirate boat ride! Great afternoon.

Before we visited I rang to ask about prices for our large party of mixed ages and the guy was really helpful and directed me to another website. He siad print of voucher for £2 per person discount and bring on the day as it would be cheaper than booking on line. (It was a lot easier too). I had... More

The caves are very hard to find as there's not many sign posts in Hastings giving directions to them. We eventually found them after a great deal of walking around and then found the admission a bit on the dear side just to walk into a cave. Having said that there's lots of educational displays inside and some of them... More

The history of the caves is very interesting for adults and the interactive features of smugglers is great for kids and young teens. Although v.little kids might get a bit scared!

Went here just as an afterthought as other usershad given this quite mixed reviews. Really glad we took the time as this provides an insight into the true character of Hastings and it's somewhat historically chequered past. If you want an easy history lesson and the chance to have your photo taken in the stocks (take a pal and a... More

Yes it is bit scary start with so if you have sensitive children I would not advise it. We were lucky for the majority of it it was just me and my boys. Very interactive and very informative. A bit jumpy and a bit spooky. Loved it.

They tell you at the gate you will be in there about an hour. Well worth the entrance fee. Very interesting learning all about the history of smuggling. We really enjoyed the experience.
