Spa day

Annual spa day was at bannatynes Hastings. I have to say I was not blown away. Went to the gym first, some of the equipment is new but some is older and quite complicated. In... read more

This was my third visit to the Bannatyne Spa in Hastings due to Groupons excellent deals with them. We decide that we would stay over night in the 4* hotel which is next to the main Spa/Gym building. First up the Gym! Brilliant facilities with a floor dedicated for cardio equipment and the main ground floor for free weights and... More

Well all the negative comments on here are true. At the centre of this so called Spa is a cafe and the main entrance to the car park, there are no toilets in the so called spa area. You have to walk through the cafe and around a corridor with your slippers or people with their outdoor shoes on, so... More

Went there on a day pass (£15 each) with my friend. My locker jammed (my £1 coin got stuck in the mechanism) and they came down to sort it out - eventually prising it open with a hammer. They then duly stuck an 'out of order' notice on the locker. Upon leaving I asked if I could get my £1... More

The hot beds are absolutely amazing, made of tiles and shaped to fit your back with a large choice of magazines. So relaxing! Also so nice to get in a hot jacuzzi outside with our champagne, lovely and hot. Unlimited teas and coffees too! The girls running all the treatments were lovely and very good at their job! They always... More

Annual spa day was at bannatynes Hastings. I have to say I was not blown away. Went to the gym first, some of the equipment is new but some is older and quite complicated. In the time I was in the gym I didn't see a member of staff so I could not check about correct usage so in the... More

Cafeteria was awful, truly soul-less and took so long to get served. Really didn't match the quality of the rest of the spa and kind of spoilt the vibe of the day. Also annoyed that we weren't allowed in any classes as we were told that members were given priority and all were fully booked. Finally the jacuzzi, sauna and... More

We had a lovely time here. We had a full body massage, facial and foot massage which was truly relaxing. Amanda and her colleague I think her name was Georgia? Were very friendly and very good at the treatments. We finished of by relaxing on the hot stone beds in the relaxation room and had to tear ourselves off them... More

Had a spa day booked for my daughter and myself treatments and staff ok at best. Checked in by the kitchen staff incorrectly then literally accused d of not paying for treatments not covered by our vouchers! Expected to spend hours in a "relaxation " room with only 6 beds with the staff constantly sending more people into the room... More

I purchased a red letter days voucher to visit here for my friends birthday. Two months prior to our visit we booked everything and then two days before our visit my friend received a call from someone called Amanda saying they were cancelling our visit because a therapist had walked out that day. I was shocked that a chain such... More

I had a 55 minute treatment which did include a facial but I chose not to have that and they were very accommodating in changing the arrangements to suit. So I had a longer back massage and Megan, who was my therapist, was great. She picked up on where I had tension and worked on those areas which was really... More
