Take the ultimate undersea safari at Blue Reef Aquarium. Enjoy incredibly close encounters with seahorses, native sharks, giant octopus and hundreds of amazing aquatic creatures. At the aquarium’s heart is a giant ocean display where you can walk through an underwater tunnel and come face to face with shoals of colourful fish.

Compared with the average Sea Life centre, I don't think there is as much here, but in saying that the admission prices are far cheaper than Sea Life, we also got a discount as we had a leaflet for places to visit in Sussex, plus our son was free as he is only 6 months so we ended up paying... We enjoyed our time, but our time was very very short. It took about 30 mins to get round so not really a day out. For what you get, the ticket prices are extortionate and being able to return any time in the day is no use if you have seen everything. The place overall was very shabby, but the... More

Oh dear it's not good at all. Don't waste your money paid nearly thirty pounds for the family. Took us half hour! The feeding was very rubbish with the food just being chucked into the top of tank!. Disabled toilets not working. No one to run the cafe! Chipped broken flooring. I am so angry wasted my money when we... More

I would not recommend visiting this aquarium; it is tiny and far too expensive for what it offers. Needs a bit of a revamp and paint! However, the children I visited it with enjoyed the day; think I am just hard to please as visited much larger and exciting aquariums. Definitely a family attractions.

It has a reasonable collection of fish and sea-life, but just re-paint it! The tacky blue of the walls is distractingly un-sea like. The fish tunnel is... short, and the stingrays looked a bit bored. If it gets a facelift, it'll be nice. But until then, good for kids.

Lovely aquarium well laid out and not to expensive. We loved the jelly fish and the large open tank with ray and small sharks. the underwater tunnel is fun. Shame we didn't get to see the Octopus as the display wasn't open. Would have liked some bigger fish in the tunnel (we have been to aquariums that have this). Loved... More

We enjoyed the variety of fish in the aquarium. Close up to many unusual species. The children aged 6 and 7 enjoyed the quiz and the colouring competition. We all enjoyed the reptile room and the children held or touched the python. I could have started again and gone round for a second time. Ticket once purchased is usable all... More

I took a disabled lady I care for here and carers get in free which is brilliant, but taking my family in is way too expensive for what is actually there, over too quickly and definitely missing the octopus.

We took our one and three year old here at the end of March. There is a good selection of fish and displays but we had seen all of the displays within about 45 minutes and some of that 45 minutes was taken up with me and my wife trying to work out where to take the kids next. This... More

I took my 5 years od grandaughter to the blue reef aquarium today she thoroughly enjoyed it though we were disappointed that the octopus has gone to a different aquarium. She got to hold a royal Python and bearded dragon which she absolutely loved, all the staff were very friendly. We will return if they get another octopus.
