Located in the historic Old Town, take the ultimate undersea safari at Blue Reef Aquarium, Hastings. Enjoy incredibly close encounters with seahorses, native sharks, giant octopus and hundreds of amazing aquatic creatures. At the aquarium's heart is a giant ocean display - walk through the mesmerising underwater tunnel and come face to face with shoals of colourful fish. So I have a membership for the aquarium and it has been invaluable! My 4 year old daughter absolutely loves going to see the fish and has a huge interest in under the Sea as a result! I do think that it is slightly over priced for young families as you get round it very quickly, however there are obviously... More

It's a small place but there are quite a few displays. My grandson loves it. We go over to spend about an hour or so at the aquarium before going into the seafront and the other attractions. It is quite prices for what it is so I certainly would not go if I was on a budget but if you... More

Recently took my two year old daughter to visit the aquarium and we had a great time. It's probably the smallest aquarium I've been to but they still have quite a few tanks of lots of different fish and other species. I noticed there was something going on nearly every hour of the day like feeding or a talk by... More

Not a lot to see take a slow walk round may last an hour tops not a great return for the admission fee limited species of fish some tanks in need of some maintenance as algae was evident one tank even had scratches on the front glass panel and had algae growing into the grooves

Like the title says it's very very over priced it will only take a few minutes to get around the place and that's trying to go slow it would be a nice place to visit to pass a bit of time if it was a lot cheaper maybe £2 per person would be a good price and that is all... More

Oh my days really lol... Really not worth the money... I'd more recommend going to a garden centre and checking out the fish there and googling the info on each fish... Lol

I have taken grandchildren here in all seasons. On a blustery and wet winter's day when there is little else to do it comes into its own. By modern standards it is a small aquarium, but it is clean, the tanks well kept and the young staff keen and helpful. there are some spectacular fish and reptiles. The displays are... More

The aquarium really is showing its age It looks and feels very tired. Takes about 20 minutes to go around the whole place v The cleaning could be much better too. Not worth the money in my opinion.

Sadly this place requires some serious TLC. MY wife noticed white spot on some of the fish and in general whilst most looked okay the exhibits were a bit tatty and the place can be done in 20 mins even with kids. Far from essential.

Okay for the family, but nothing too special here. It has the normal collection of sea life. Okay for a short visit.
