took the grandsons - disappointing not that many fish and very little to keep them interested. They did have a question leaflet but hard to find the information for them. Went round very quickly so expensive for the amount of time. You did get hand stamped that you could go back again that day but couldn't see why you would... More

My grandson loves the sealife centre and we thought this would be a nice experience for him on our day out. It took all of 15 mins to go round that was with a longer stay in the area where the iguana was. I was also a little concerned with how the octopus was kept as it seemed such a... More

Decided to take my 3 kids 10,2 and my 5 month old. From the minute we walked in it was filthy and hardly any staff. I needed to feed my children so went into the cafe and thank god I bought my kids their pack lunch. I would not eat there, flies everywhere, tables filthy with food it was empty... More

1 adult, 2 children, done in 45 minutes. Expensive for visit, really lacking in hands on, rude staff. It has really gone down the pan. Nothing that inspiring. Disabled unfriendly (that's not a reference to the 7 steps into tunnel)..... go to London or Brighton aquarium.

This is a great place to go which is allot cheaper then most aquariums and it also has events watching the fish being fed and also being able to see the reptiles and stroke the snakes which my daughter loved . so has a little more to offer then other places . its small so it doesn't take long to... I took my granddaughter here today ,weather was bad so I expected it to be crowded, it wasn't, yes it was small don't expect too much but it was ok. We enjoyed the aquarium itself small but my 2 year old granddaughter liked it . The problem was the café. We thought we'd eat here prices not bad considering but... More

Went with an18 month and 4 year old and they both had a great time as had never seen fish in (albeit simulated) habitat before. Aquarium was clean and well presented with lots of different exhibits. Staff were friendly and helpful. Access by buggy was easy and there is a public car park immediately adjacent. Would visit again if we... More

We took a day trip into hastings and decided to go to the aquarium as in previous years this has been a good visit although i was deeply saddened to see this deteriorating local attraction. When we arrived we had the buggy with us but there was no buggy park so you have to take it round with you and... More

Good selection of underwater flora and fauna. Nice walk at the bottom of one of the big tanks. Most tanks are good visible for children.

Due to my son's love of undersea creatures we have visited quite a few Aquarium-based attractions. This is one of the smaller ones we have been in, but it still has enough of the 'important' bits, such as a glass-roofed tunnel with a black-tipped reef shark swimming overhead, and a pool with very friendly rays who surface often to wave...
