Good selection of underwater flora and fauna. Nice walk at the bottom of one of the big tanks. Most tanks are good visible for children.

Due to my son's love of undersea creatures we have visited quite a few Aquarium-based attractions. This is one of the smaller ones we have been in, but it still has enough of the 'important' bits, such as a glass-roofed tunnel with a black-tipped reef shark swimming overhead, and a pool with very friendly rays who surface often to wave... Nice place, the tanks are clean and the fish look healthy. The prices is good but it doesn't take that long to walk through

Brilliant aquarium larger than you expect when you see it. Whole family enjoyed it and for price well worth the visit. Great shop too.

I last visited just over 3 years a go. I wasn't too impressed back then and would have give 2' stars'. In my opinion ,Blue Reef aquarium has improved a little. It IS still overpriced for the experience and some of the tanks contained the same fish and a couple had nothing in them at all, a glass case in... More

Exactly what the subheading says. Very expensive but not much to see. I would try and avoid if possible as paying £30 for 20minutes of mediocre fish is not a day-out for me

For £35, for two adults and two kids (though they had to pay adult prices, I haven't come across any 14 year old adults!) we expected something of Sea Life Centre calibre, but it was not to be. It was expensive, appeared to be run by older teenagers and was over and done with in no time, and thats with... More

The title says it all really. Overpriced to boot. Only takes around an hour to walk around. It's fun, but less than you'd expect.

Rather quaint and small and the price of £28.90 for family of 4 might put some off. But when you consider you can come and go all day it's not bad value. Quite small and only takes around an hour to walk round. But if you do the kids activities would take quite a bit longer. Has a good variety... More

I really loved the clown fish. The highlight of the aquarium is the long tunnel where you can see loads of fishes and a shark. I got a lovely green screen photo of myself.
