I am not a member of Uni of Sussex, but used the library while visiting Brighton. I found the library welcoming to visitors and was able to easily sign up for a guest pass. Library staff were helpful. It was during the student holidays, so there was plenty of space to work. It made a great difference for me having... More

Loads of different courses, great campus - not too big and very clear as to where everything is -, fab teachers, pretty place with hills and walks just behind

A beautiful site set on the edge of the South Downs. This campus has an array of pubs, bar and shops along with it's own Co op. Buses run directly into the university and take you to Brighton centre in half an hour.

Sure this 1960s campus university is a great place to study but a) it isn't really a tourist attraction b) the locaton shown on the map is totally wrong - in fact it is out at Falmer several miles northeast of Brighton c) as one reviewer has said there is ample parking but that costs £6 a day for non... My son is deaf and did his first degree there in IT. I found them to be very helpful and down to earth. A really fun place and easy to get into. There is lots of parking too.

I've been to Sussex University on several occasions and am always surprised at what goes on there. Apart from business/academic meetings, there is a theatre and cinema and so close to Brighton City itself.
