Aside from having loads of cafes and rock shop, with a great beach front view. The little shops have great gifts and trinkets from home decor, mugs and wind chimes to bracelets and bangels. A must see in brighton

A pier with a lot of stuff on it. The deck chairs to enjoy the sunset are nice, but does that beach setting really require a casino and a Tivoli on a PIER?? Maybe that's what the Brits think they need to keep that feeling of grandeur. I find much less would be much more.

Yes there is lots to see but it is all a bit tacky. The best part is sitting outside one of the cafes or outside the Fortune of War as I did. The area between the two piers is probably better.

Walking along the pier there are a range of traditional seaside arcades, food places and rides as well as games for the children. We were fortunate to have lovely weather making this a great part of a lovely day

Under-cliff walk has several archers that have been turned into small business shops, selling mainly art work, souvenirs, some amusements and food and drink. If you are an art lover,I would recommend a look.

This place gives a real mixture of good old English seaside atmosphere with fairground rides, ice cream, fish and chips and "kiss me quick" hats sitting happily along side lovely art and craft outlets. Could spend many a happy hour here.

Nice walk along the beach, there is a lot of building work going on and renovations to the whole area along by the old West pier, but although will take some years to finish its going to be spectacular, its still a lovely walk, and the council have made it safe to walk along the prom and see all the... a great and safe way to walk up and down the prom, great if you have kids as no traffic, an assortment of shops, bars and cafes, a few round abouts, not too near the waters edge

A nice long flat walk or cycle ride right by the sea. Great when the sea is up and breaking over the marina wall or the sea defences.

you have to do this pier as it is so much fun. lots of children and adults to do and it really is kept nicely!! we had hours of fun in the arcades and with the games. some are a little pricey but the machines are often 2p and 10p. brings back fun seaside holiday memories!!
