Free entry onto the pier take a nice stroll along, nice shops sat and enjoyed an ice cream while sitting on the seat watching the sea ripple around the pier, buy a wrist band if you go on the fair rides works out a lot better.

We were travelling with toddlers and this place was perfect for all ages. The weather was sunny and hence pleasant for a beach visit. All kind of food is available with lots of ice cream parlors. People (ladies) must be careful walking in heels as they may get stuck in between the wooden log flooring though it is not so... More

Aside from having loads of cafes and rock shop, with a great beach front view. The little shops have great gifts and trinkets from home decor, mugs and wind chimes to bracelets and bangels. A must see in brighton

A pier with a lot of stuff on it. The deck chairs to enjoy the sunset are nice, but does that beach setting really require a casino and a Tivoli on a PIER?? Maybe that's what the Brits think they need to keep that feeling of grandeur. I find much less would be much more.

Yes there is lots to see but it is all a bit tacky. The best part is sitting outside one of the cafes or outside the Fortune of War as I did. The area between the two piers is probably better.

Walking along the pier there are a range of traditional seaside arcades, food places and rides as well as games for the children. We were fortunate to have lovely weather making this a great part of a lovely day

This place gives a real mixture of good old English seaside atmosphere with fairground rides, ice cream, fish and chips and "kiss me quick" hats sitting happily along side lovely art and craft outlets. Could spend many a happy hour here.

Nice walk along the beach, there is a lot of building work going on and renovations to the whole area along by the old West pier, but although will take some years to finish its going to be spectacular, its still a lovely walk, and the council have made it safe to walk along the prom and see all the...
