Great to relax and eat. Loved the fun fair and the arcade typical seaside charm. In hot summers day lovely sea breeze and watching the tides

The classic Brighton's symbol is not as fun as its Los Angeles's counterpart, but it has still its own style with gorgeous views to the city and the cliffs. It can be even more charming with fog in the morning. It would be even better, if they had some proper attractions on it and not a bunch of casino arcades.

Great fun whatever the weather. All the usual arcade games and candy floss stalls plus a lovely old fashioned fish and chip shop plus a warm and welcoming pub (The Victoria) which was clean, tidy and friendly. Right at the end of the pier are the White knuckle rides for the thrill seekers.

Breathtaking white cliffs from underneath, the undercliff walk can on a stormy day be rather dangerous, but mostly it´s a very pleasant, wide concreted route along the seafront, but below the cliffs, for cyclists and promenades. Romantic, or with scooters, you can reach the cafés in the other end and feel refreshed. Step down to the rock pools and beaches... More

The Undercliff walk from Brighton Marina to Saltdean offers an amazing seaside walk whatever the tide is doing, best in stormy weather, but always watch out for silent cyclists. Check out the cafe at Ovingdean and at low tide you might even find a fossil amongst the pebbles!

Light, bright, noisy, funny, clean and a total joy to visit. Plenty of seats available along the pier and good eating and snack places.

It is possible to walk from Shoreham Harbour to Saltdean in one straight line (save for a hideous dogleg when you get to the Marina Carpark!) a distance in the region of ten miles! Along the wide promenade in Hove, over the border to Brighton and along the beach line, on past the Volks Railway and then through the Marina... More
