Lovely walk from Brighton all the way to cute village of Rottingdean where can buy refreshments, explore Rose Garden and admire gorgeous cottages.

When you've visited amusement piers along the coasts of the U.S., as we have, this one seems very familiar - rides, food, arcade (check, check, check). Nice view of Brighton from the end of the pier but really enjoyed walking along the promenade more.

Wow! What an improvement here. Looks great, now sort out the rest of the seafront please. Cafes and shops look good and handy for beach goers

Took a walk along here today as part of my day in Brighton trying desperately to find something nice to say. But I can't. Unfortunately we chose a time of bad weather and many parts closed but enjoyed it. Chinese noodles on pier are very tasty.

A visit to the pier when I visit Brighton is like a pilgrimage. Tacky games & amusements - many of which seem the same as they were when I first saw them 40 years ago. In a world where too much changes too fast, I'm glad they are still there.

We live in Southend which boasts the longest pleasure pier in the world so we would hardly be impressed by Brighton's. However, we found the pier to be a pleasant walk despite the gale force wind. It looks well maintained and is free to walk on. Southend take note!

Lots of slots machines, rides and places to eat. Clean and friendly and wonderful views and lots of original architecture.
