We have been here before so knew where we were going. The mini train is recommended out to the marina, where you can explore some of the shops. We have done this, so elected to take the Undercliff walk, which is aptly named. It goes all the way to the attractive village of Rottingdean. We stopped for a pint, and... More

Once you work out how to get to the under cliff walk, Asda Car park I found to be the best way. The under cliff walk is full of treasures especially if the tide is out. The children will love the rock pools and the adults will love the ice cream stops at the little cafe's on route. Also you... More

This pier is for everyone, something to do at all age levels. You can either have a stroll, or have a drink in the bar, eat fish and chips or go on the fairgound ride and arcades. Great Fun for all!!

Undercliff walk starts at Saltdean and ends near Brighton Marina, and if you want to carry on walking you can get to the the west side of Hove near the lagoon. Good for walking, cycling, roller-skating/blading.

We've been walking along the under-cliff between Brighton and Rottingdean regularly for more than 30 years. I also love to run along the under-cliff in the early mornings when there's no one about. It can be a great way to de-stress, or just for a pleasant stroll whatever the weather. Exhilarating on days when the wind is blowing and waves... More

Brighton Pier is a great trip down memory lane and the Undercliff Walk is an excellent experience when in Brighton - highly recommended.

The Brighton pier is a wonderful place to while away the time, especially if with young kids. Along with numerous rides, the pier also has many food establishments and you can try out many different variety of food or ice-creams out here. the undercliff walk is really nice too, especially when taken on a warm, sunny day

lovely area and it made it a lovely finish area for the London to Brighton bike ride. Sunshine made it even better along with a nice beer

I often do this walk especially good on weekdays when it is just locals. You can walk all the way from Saltdean through Rottingdean and then on to Brighton. A couple of cafes to break the walk en route. Good all year but can get wet and windy in winter.
