gets you to the marina and sand castle exhibition. Once is enough considering cost which is cash only. They like exact money £7 for two. Note last outward train leaves after last return train so you have to walk back.

A short relaxing and reasonably-priced train ride along the coastline from the Wheel to the Marina. A relaxing journey in miniature carriages that is ideal for the whole family. Worth a visit.

This is a great little electric railway which runs along the seafront at Brighton from the Aquarium to the Marina. The staff were friendly and pleasant, the weather was great (which always helps) and the journey was lovely. It goes at a slow pace allowing you to take it all in and unwind - it certainly beats getting the bus.

Very interesting old tramway cars. Slow velocity provides the feeling of ancient times. Not far from the beaches

As a Brighton resident and a regular user of the Volk's Railway I have to say it is one of the few positive achievements that Brighton Council manages to carry out.

Good for getting along the beach front. Children liked the ride. View of the sea very good. Seats a bit hard but as its only a short trip, that doesn't matter.

Having parked quite a way up towards the marina. We thought the Volks railway would save a walk. For 4 of us it was £5. Including 2 children. Ok but shame they don't do returns. Similar funnicular trains in Hastings would of been about the same price for a return. But I guess it's Brighton. Quite quaint and saved a... More

The small Volke's Railway runs along the promenade from the Pier to the Marina. Whilst not having the attraction of Blackpool trams during the illuminations it is a most enjoyable way to travel along the sea front. It has been running for well over 100 years and many generations have enjoyed the journey.
