After picking up my recently altered engagement ring, I wanted to drop a quick Trip Advisor review to recommend Camelot Jewellers in The Lanes, in Brighton. We've been really impressed with Camelot. This is really one of the highlights of my trip to the UK. The variety and quirkiness of The Lanes makes it an absolute must. Interesting shops and places to eat. Good vegetarian places for food. Lovely ice cream shop. Excellent market on Saturdays. Friendly stall owners. I feel nostalgic writing this review. Till next time ....

It is so different with little streets and big streets, small shops and large shops, independent traders and the high street giants and lots of nice eating houses. You could happily spend the day just wandering and if tired, stop and have a drink and a bite to eat. Would recommend a visit.

Good to look around, easy place to spend a couple of hours. It has a unique character with many antique and jewellery outlets.

Well worth a visit to the Lanes, there so many querky shops, bars & restaurants to visit. You need a good few days to get round everything though, it's huge!

Love the lanes. Lots of lovely little shops, bars and restaurants. You can spend hours here and you need to take your time as there is always a shop or bar just around the corner you haven't seen before. If you take the wife like I did then wear some comfy shoes!

We had a good wander around here but we're slightly disappointed that about 80% of the shops were jewellery. Pleasant enough got a morning but not fabulous!
