Ignoring the main streets ... there are two quite separate shopping areas in central Brighton. One is called The Lanes. The other is called the North Laine. The first is plural. The second is singular. Both are fascinating. more

Quite simply summarised, my favourite place to shop in the whole world! Quirky,fun, individual, colourful, unusual, eclectic, and some good little places to eat and drink too. Can get very crowded i've always preferred going in winter but summer is great too to sit out with a drink. The Lanes are 3 (or 4?) roads long. I never get bored... more
