The view behind it doughnut is much better than the doughnut itself

The doughnut is exactly as you see it in pictures. I wouldn't suggest going out of your way to see it but if you want a nice view of the pier and the beach then head here.

When we visit Brighton Beach I love to take photos of the Doughnut from different angles, during different times of the day. It's an interesting piece of art when you find out its thistory. There's always people milling around it, and when the sea is rough - watch out for those unexpected waves.

Why a doughnut and not a bagel, the lid of a teapot ot the backlight on a rifle? It's simple harmless inoffensive and mildly curious.

Great place in summer to look out to the sea or rest. Beware sometimes it gets overcrowded with students or other groups.

As far as modern art instalments for, I have seen much better. I have also seen much worse. As long as it kept a local artist in paint brushes then it no doubt fulfilled its purpose.

I have been at the beach and just walked next to this ''doughnut', I just saw there is something round shape and big, just later noticed when I searched on the internet that it was a doughnut. If someone walks by the seaside will see that, however for me it meant nothing. :(

its a doughnut? Why? Maybe I'm missing the point but it's just a big doughnut. If your walking past took a look but I wouldn't take a detour for it

The Doughnut is different and not sure in a good way. So you take a quick look at this, but really its not worth a specific trip unless you want to see work from the artist specifically. To be honest stop, take a look as you are walking the seafront and enjoy the setting, which is most spectacular and vibrant.

Nice attraction to see and take photos of but not worth going out of your way to see. If your in the area or passing by then take a couple of minutes to walk out to it and see it for yourself - it's worth a few minutes of your time.
