The view behind it doughnut is much better than the doughnut itself

The doughnut is exactly as you see it in pictures. I wouldn't suggest going out of your way to see it but if you want a nice view of the pier and the beach then head here.

As far as modern art instalments for, I have seen much better. I have also seen much worse. As long as it kept a local artist in paint brushes then it no doubt fulfilled its purpose.

I have been at the beach and just walked next to this ''doughnut', I just saw there is something round shape and big, just later noticed when I searched on the internet that it was a doughnut. If someone walks by the seaside will see that, however for me it meant nothing. :(

its a doughnut? Why? Maybe I'm missing the point but it's just a big doughnut. If your walking past took a look but I wouldn't take a detour for it

The Doughnut is different and not sure in a good way. So you take a quick look at this, but really its not worth a specific trip unless you want to see work from the artist specifically. To be honest stop, take a look as you are walking the seafront and enjoy the setting, which is most spectacular and vibrant.

Nice attraction to see and take photos of but not worth going out of your way to see. If your in the area or passing by then take a couple of minutes to walk out to it and see it for yourself - it's worth a few minutes of your time.

For a town that boasts the Royal Pavilion and all its grandeur this seems rather tame. A view through a globe with north and south poles joined together. To me another pretty ordinary work of art that spent more time on its description than in making. I nearly walked past it without noticing it as I was more interested in... More

It's on the Easty Street (Doughnut) Gryone on the sea front. Interesting to stop and have a quick look. Take views from different angles. Well done Hamish for making this. Look through the centre hole at the horizon.

Everyone here calls it "just a doughnut," but it's actually a water map of the world...on its side. The continents are all carved into it, and you can see the water as you look through it. Pretty cool--but see it on the way. Not a "come to see this" attraction, but certainly a cool oddity/piece of art!
