This is one of brighton's best public parks, well kept and very varied landscaping with hills and trees (and a kids' playground) on one side and tennis courts, cafe and hidden gardens (A rose garden and a sensory garden) on the other. Situated away from busy roads. The cafe was once plain and cheap and is now expensive and characterless... More

Quiet and off the main drag. Often forgotten by tourists. This remains a cool spot to sleep in during hot summer afternoons.

This is a favourite park for walks with our dog and grandchildren. There are lots of different areas with many facilities. The herb garden is beautiful and tai chi enthusiasts can often be seen practising there. The tennis courts are well used. The childrens' play area is well equipped with a variety of swings, slides, climbing suitable for all ages.... More

I've been coming here for years. I even recall it when it was a greasy cafe! Luckily it has more to offer than those times. I've enjoyed many a good coffee, snack, lunch here with fam and friends. Glad of this place being our local park and cafe. Lots of choices on the menu and you can hire it for... More

Great location but why can't they keep the place clean. Went there for breakfast today. Sticky tables, un cleaned sauce bottles, counter and outside area covered in rubbish, kids high chairs with dried food that's not been cleaned off. Big shame as loads of potential. Lovely sunny Sunday morning and about 8 people there. Should've been packed?

A lovely park with a fairly large cafe area. Well equipped for Mom's and babies, food adequate but plenty of ice cream and drinks. Toilet facilities nearby. Plenty of street parking. Large children 's play area. Lots of seats and shade.

This lovely park was over run with dogs off leads. They were running in and out of cafe unchecked, generally a nuisance. There were some considerate dog owners who had obedient dogs on leads. Disappointed.

I was surprised when I saw squirrels running around which made my day. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained. Many different types of people visit this park which is cool.
