A beautiful garden. Wonderful adventure playground. My grandchildren loved it. A nice cafe with prompt efficient service and a good selection of snacks etc. Bowling green. Tennis courts. A lovely place to spend a summer's day.

My daughter is shortly to move near to the park so on Sunday afternoon we went on a reckie. Obviously not at it's best in February but the crocusses were out and they gave a carpet of colour. In summer this will be a lovely place for my daughter to sit and relax in.We didn't go in the cafe but... More

They have a good cake selection and it's lovely to sit and watch the Gardens activity whilst taking your time over a lemon drizzle and tea. Usual cafe fare but location and cake, and pretty good coffee, make it special.

Widespread grassy area with tennis courts, children's playground, floral bedding, cafe, toilet facilities. All you could want to entertain the children, walk the dog or generally enjoy sitting around on one of the many benches. The area comes alive at certain times of the year with local festivals being held there.

Good park with a variety of facilities: tennis, children's playground, bowling, cafe etc. Is now quite a community place and holds events/ festivals in the summer. NOT suited to night time walks. Many people sleep there and it is generally unsafe.

There are many parks in Brighton and Hove but I like this one because of its location. Its put of the way of tourists and is in one of my favoured residential spots. Set back from the sea front, its almost like a barrier between Brighton and Hove. Nice for walking through on your way into Brighton from Hove or... More

Love the park and the vibe from the cafe. Food is good, but the chaos ordering system needs to be looked at. The staff are lovely and friendly, just a bit hectic,

plenty of playground for children - a free, safe, play that lasts all afternoon and a good cafe for when you need a break.
