Lots of quirky shops selling all sorts. Great place to wander around and people watch. Reminds me of Camden Town in London on a smaller scale.

This is the area that makes Brighton magical. A fascinating mix of retail, cafes and bars. It's unique and a million miles away from the 'corporate' offerings of the main mall in Churchill Square. Long may it prosper. But please planners, don't over gentrify it.

We went there to meet friends for a quick Sunday lunchtime drink - ended up eating a great lunch and staying most of the afternoon. The food was great, some really different and interesting variations on the Sunday Lunch theme, especially for vegetarians. Brilliant atmosphere and great music.

Love to just wander in the North Laines - so many cafes, independent clothing stores and restaurants to drop into. Great area to meet up with a friend and just hang out on a sunny spring day

Lots to see on North Laine, with a wide variety of shops available. Quirky and quaint, with some fantastic things you probably don't need but really want. Very easy to impulse buy...!

If you want to get away from supermarkets and shopping centres this is the place to go..A street full of little shops selling goods from all around the world. Our favourite was a shop selling the widest range of spices I have seen outside a middle eastern market.

The bustling North lanes are a wealth of independent shops and cafes....great for classic vinyl albums and retro clothing.

If you visit Brighton you have to come to the Lanes. There are two sets of Lanes in Brighton, both are as equally charming! The North Laine is great for finding kitsch and vintage gifts.
