Brighton Pier is a lovely piece of our history and it is well worth a walk along. You get lovely views back towards Brighton and it is free to walk along. There are the old school attractions, the 2p machines, mechanical horse racers and modern slot machines, but it is all great fun. It can be quite crowded, but there... More

Love the arcades in Brighton. Im not too keen about the beach but its proximity to london makes it really convinient.

A vibrant pier which has an array of activities be it for the young at heart or the old campaigners. All the qualities of a British seaside town , candy floss donuts jellied eels along with the traditional fish & chip restaurant. Deckchairs a plenty as you rest and relax contemplating your next excursion. The funfair is a must are... More

I went to Brighton with my partner looking to spend a short time near the beach. Short visit, but honestly, more than enough. If you are in Brighton (which has charming tiny streets filled with very special stores and nice places to eat), might as well go see the Brighton Pier, but honestly, it's not as cute and romantic as... A great place to fill up on with loads of snacks and everything for a sweet-tooth. Bar at the end and a fish (term used loosely) restaurant. Staff almost whipped the glasses out of our hands while downing our last mouth of beer! BUT, the crepes filled with fruit (or savoury) of choice and topped with ice cream - WOW,... More

I have to take a walk along to the end of the pier every time I'm in Brighton whatever the weather. It's just not a trip to Brighton if I don't !

I was amazed that the pier, an iconic land mark and one of the main visitor attractions in Brighton, closes so early. We arrived on Friday in summer and found it closed at 10pm! Incredible considering there are a couple of bars located at the end of the pier. I don't think we were expecting it to be an all... More

The pier is bustling with funfair rides and funfair foods. We stopped in the pub at the end of the pier for a cup of tea while our menfolk drank a pint of beer. Outside it had began to rain heavily, inside it was 4pm on a Saturday afternoon in July and they called last orders and closed the bar.... More

Very impressed with Brighton, the lanes for shopping really quirky and different. The promenade is full with cafés, bars, and stalls. The pier was great wristbands for £20 for the day for kids for all rides, while we took full advantage of the free deck chairs on the pier soaking up the sun.

Brighton pier has some great arcades, deck chairs are free for pier users which is a bonus. All the usual treats can be found here: doughnutd, ice cream, toffee apples and candy floss.
