Brighton is a must while visiting the south coast. We went there on a half day trip and returned the next day as well.It is a large resort with so much to see and do.The only thing I would not recommend is the sea life centre which was rather expensive for what it was.You could have a real good holiday in... Like most Brighton visitors we walked the pier. Was sadly prevented from properly experiencing the fun-fair due to inclement weather, but place is standard tourist trap (natch) - over-priced, lots of neon and plenty to spend on :) Even so I liked it, and the kids loved the few rides we got to try on a short visit. On our... More

Its always such a treat to walk on the pier to sit on one of the many available free deckchairs and look out to see or watch the antics of the people in the sea or on the beach while eating an ice cream ,then stroll further down the end of the pier and watch all the brave people on... More

Really fun place! Full of activities and gourmets for everyone! From doughnuts to caramelised apples, ice creams. Great place fo the youngest. Merry-go-round, Booster and much more to give you experience of a lifetime. DO NOT GO THERE IN A HIGH HEELS! Footbridge build of wooden planks with spaces between. So you can see water underneath. Is MUST SEE in... More

People rant about how you should visit the pier when in Brighton. It is exactly what I expected a typical seaside pier. Slot machines, smell of doughnuts and chips and load of screaming kids. A little disappointed as I thought that there would be something special.

Fab pier well maintained with loads to see and do to keep you occupied for an hour or two. Lots of rides, the usual arcades, side stall games, fish and chip shop, bar and other eateries. Plenty of seats for the sun or the shade and a nice breeze. Deck chairs are free. Overall one of the best piers I... More

This pier is lovely and full of fun, with rides, places for food and drink, a bar/pub and a general fun feel to it. Gorgeous view out over the sea and over the beach. Especially nice on a hot summers day!

The Brighton pier is great for a family day out! There is food to purchase, great fairground rides (including roller coasters and log flumes) and a great arcade. Overall, I would recommend visiting Brighton Pier
