You can ot go to the seaside without visiting the pier and Brighton offers more than many. You can sit and watch the sea, straining your eyes to see passing ships, you can drink tea, coffee, soft drinks or alcohol, you can nibble on sea food or more substantial meals, you can buy the usual souveniers, you can chance you... It does what it says on the tin . Lots of bright lights and arcades to waste your hard-earned on . Free to enter and plenty of security on hand should the need arise .Lots of little shops flogging anything from ice-cream to seafood and coffees to milkshakes ( £4 ? No thanks ) The decking can be a little... More

Although far from being a unique experience Brighton has everything you expect from a modern pier. Amusement arcades, fairground rides, small shops and food. If none of that is your cup of tea just a stroll up the pier with the bracing air and crash of waves is wonderful.

A kinda tatty loud pier with arcade games, soft serve ice cream, cut outs for photos and fried dough. Pretty much what you would expect.

It's nice to stroll down the pier in nice weather...not a patch on my local one though (Southend pier). A few little stalls to buy rock (too much stir fry for me...) and the rides do look quite good.

Great fun as always classic british fun. Rides were very expensive so didn't go on them. But the arcades were great fun and busy which added to the ambience.

Like most seaside resorts in the UK, Brighton is no exception when it comes to a pier with attractions and amusements Me and my friends spent the early afternoon with our wristbands to go on the rides and almost threw up we rode them repeatedly one after the other! The staff are all friendly and there were no queues to... More
