Rammed full of people and seagulls swooping down for your food - they will literally take it from your hands. The only highlight are the hot doughnuts (if you can hold onto them before the seagulls get them). Try Worthing Pier instead - hardly any people, alot less seagull action and fabulous views

It's the most interesting pier I have seen, lots of old fashioned decorative steel. There was something to do for all ages.

got to see the pier, both during the day and nightime between the heaviest rainfall we had on a two month holiday. What a fantastic attraction. We found the security staff in particular very friendly and they were only too happy to tell us all about the pier, and the old one, very knowledgeable. A credit to the city. Other attraction... great to see a traditional pier just a shame it's so ran down actually feels like the boards are breaking beneath your feet. There were even placed coned off where the boards had broken. Kids would probably love it as there are lots of rides other than that it's all just a bit ran down

The attraction itself is beautiful and incredible structure. The walk leading to it was exciting. But the toilets and general smell, cleanliness & decor on the inside was just disgusting. It was packed full of young teenagers in large groups loitering which was intimidating at times. But I would never have gone to Brighton and not been there, you have... More

Very busy, attractive landmark on the seafront. Everything you would expect from a classic pier-plus funfair at the end of the pier with nail-biting rides over the sea! Candyfloss, slot machines, benches overlooking the sea on both sides. FREE ACCESS!!!!
