Since I was in Brighton was for a solo one-day backpacking, I had no hotel booking. I came from London via Thameslink rail. And along with the rail ticket, I bought GBP 2 PLUSBUS pass. This pass offers unlimited travel on all the Brighton & Hove City Buses. It was raining heavily that day and winds were blowing at 45+... More

Not very much to do apart from eating. It looks like they will probably open some more shops in the future but at present it is very poor and a waste of time.

Take a stroll along one of the break waters then enjoy lunch at one of the waterfront restaurants. Boat trips are available when the weather permits. A great place to spend a sunny afternoon.

The marina has plenty of parking and is well worth a visit. There are a number of specialist shops and a full size Asda. There is a large selection of restaurants from cafes including a McDonald's too almost fine dinning. Great views across the marina with its array of boats to lust over.

What a pleasant place to visit. Spotlessly clean, lovely shops, great tea room. We had a lovely afternoon tea great value for money and delicious. Would certainly go there again. Also nice to wander round and look at all the boats.
