Dont be put off by first impressions with the poor cluster of shops, check out the great set of restaurants along the waterfront, with the added bonus of free parking. Approx 40 min walk from Brighton.

This is a godless place. A concrete municipal nightmare. Your heart starts to panic as soon as you see the benighted 'Welcome to Brighton Marina' sign hanging like a threat on a concrete overpass. In fact, that's the first impression: concrete. Great big geometric slabs of it: from the huge car park next to the shabby ASDA to the leisure... More

We have been to the marina several times in the past and found it to be a pleasant place to visit and to eat,but unfortunately this is not true now.We visited there this weekend gone 31/8/2014 and now find it to be dirty in general and certainly nowhere near the pleasant place it was.We also decided to get something to... It is quite a walk from the centre of town/pier area although the walk is worth it. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants, mainly your run of the mill chain restaurants along with a cinema. There are also some nice little pubs and restaurants in the piazza tucked around of the back of the marina.

There are two faces to the Brighton Marina. One face looks out to sea across a harbour full of everything from dinky boats to jumbo yachts - the latter mostly up for sale at present, with places to stroll and gawp and with connections to the under cliff walk that stretches out to Saltdean. The other face looks inward to... More

Bighton Marina has so many eateries and bars but not a lost else. It doesnt appear to be well planned and lacks any real attraction to get visitors over there. They should build more accommodation and shops to get some customers to the area.

Took some friends here (their request) and had an enjoyable day. We walked from the free car park past all the boats, and then along the under cliff walk towards Rottingdean, stopping for a coffee along the way. Retraced our steps and had a pleasant enough lunch at one of the numerous chain restaurants over looking the harbour area. Pleasant... More

loads to well worth a visit, if you have kids then you can go bowling or to the cinema! Some shopping but quite a few shops are shut now which is a shame, but there are plenty of the chain eateries here along with an asda. Easy to reach by public transport or car as there is loads of parking... More
