Some glorious views whatever the weather - dramatic high waves crashing over the sea wall or perfectly calm blue water with a surprising variety of boats bobbing about in the winter sunshine. There are numerous cafes and restaurants including specialist Indian, Italian and fish eateries. Cinema, bowling, casino and gym offer good indoor options. The shops aren't the most exciting... Really like the Brighton Marina. Loads to do be it bowling, dining (even fancy dining in a boat), cinema - you name it. Free parking and the proximity to the beach definitely help. The Brighton pier is nearby and we once tried walking from the Marina when it was a bit cold. Bad idea. Overall that marina is quite good... More

It has some great shops such as the works and the gift company. The restaurants except subway and mcdonalds you will be paying the price at though.

We were in Brighton shopping and decided to go to the Marina for a look around. I used to love it there, but it seems to have gone downhill a bit since I last visited a year or so ago. There used to be more shops and there was a some building work going on which is fine but you... More

Empty is one way to describe Brighton Marina, empty shops, empty cafes and amusements. Overpriced is probably why. To be honest the only reason I was down there was to get some photos of the sea but used to visit here a lot when my parents lived near by and we had fun then, now it's a shell of what... More

Great if you have a boat. There is a large Asda to top up supplies, cinema, bowling, and a few chain restaurants on the boardwalk overlooking the marina and a couple of pubs. Very disappointing and not worth the trip from the main town. The "designer" outlet consists of a few shops and is a depressing concrete mass and mostly... More

Were planning to do the Seafront Walk from the Marina on the east side of Brighton to Hove on the west and took a bus which dropped us off inside the Marina and then tried to find our way on foot to the beach and the start of our walk. Quite simply a hellhole. A concrete jungle with dilapidated, stinking... More

My partner and I visited our favourite little spot at Brighton Marina. The Mariner Pub with there fantastic menu and the warm crackle of the open fire with the atmosphere to match. We walked around the Marina and spotted the new developments taking shape. Exciting times ahead for this ever growing hub! Cannot wait to be back in a months... More

Visited Brighton Marina today, as I have on many previous occasions. The waterfront is great, with good selection of eateries to suit all budgets. The actual boat Marina is interesting to watch, and the walk along the coast to Rottingdean is attractive. BUT venturing inland to the retail area of The Marina is extremely depressing. There are far more empty... More
