Description: Zorian Artworks displays a collection of fine detailed landscape paintings...
Zorian Artworks displays a collection of fine detailed landscape paintings of atmospheric subjects in bold vivid colours. Artist Zorian Matthews can be found here in his studio most days working on his latest piece and is available to talk to about any of his work as well as offering free advice on your own paintings and art projects.Located in the renowned Brighton Artists Quarter, Zorian Artworks is directly on the seafront promenade, contributing to the extensive art scene in the city. Opening out onto the beach next to Brighton pier it is a great to stop and just enjoy the art or purchase a piece that would look great in your home. The gallery is open to the public all year round, most days between 11.00am till 6.00pm.The gallery is in a converted Victorian fisherman's shop, built in the old brick arches lining the beach front and situated in the historic old town area of Brighton. These shops were formally used to mend nets and store boats etc and still retain their old character which compliments the art they currently house.

Lovely place. Great ambiance. I always spend more time than I should on the shop section. Artwork is spot-on.

I spent a long time in Zorian's shop as so much of it is breathtaking! Bought a print which he printed on-the-spot at a very reasonable price. Absolutely wonderful work so definitely pop in!

Lovely artwork, well worth a visit. Small copies of larger artworks available and also cards. I especially liked the paintings with ducks on. I did not have and dislikes.

A delightful person with a wonderful talent. Imaginative art where you least expect to find it. on the lower seafront near the carousel on Brighton beach.

Such a friendly and talented guy. Was interesting to learn why he got the Armenian name. His paintings are so realistic, yet dreamy and colourful. Well worth the visit.

I have been visiting Zorian's studio for I think over 10 years now. His artwork is mesmerising , dramatic and uplifting. I love the use of rich deep colour which gives the work a positively charged vibrant energy. I suffer badly with bipolar disorder and often find myself in dark places. I find it very important to surround myself as... More

Zorian's paintings and prints are vibrant and full of colour. He is well known for his paintings of the rubber ducks that escaped from a cargo container and then where found across the globe. He does so much more than paintings of ducks. Many of his paintings capture the buzz of Brighton. It is worth going to the seafront and... More

Nice collection for people who like blues, greens, and rubber ducks. Primarily acrylic works with great attention to detail.

Lovely guy. Really like his use of strong bright colour & subject matter. Captures the brilliant light of the Sussex coast.
