While in Brighton for 3 days for a religious convention, I had some free time and wandered around the area. I happened to eat something opposite this theatre & remembered going there s few years ago with my daughter. Noticing that N Agatha Christie play was on, I enquires about tickets for the last show the following day. I bought... More

This is the second time I have visited this charming theatre last time was around 19 years ago to watch The Tempest which I remember was excellent and still don't think I have seen a more imaginative performance of Ariel. This time we came as a family to watch Agatha Christies 'And Then There Were None'. An excellent production of... More

Went to the theatre to see East is East Booked last minute and got some great seats at the back of the stalls ,as it's only a small threate the view was still very good and for the price brilliant value. The theatre has some good shows and lots that have come straight from the west end . Great seating... More

I go to Brighton quite a lot to see touring musicals, ballets and plays . its a lovely historical theatre which is quite small but has very comfortable seats . Some of the ticket prices are a bit much £45+ for stall tickets , but this varies with the different productions and the bar areas are really small so probably... More

Went to see the Circus of Horrors here - lovely building and its the first time I have felt natural character in a Theatre. This place honestly makes you feel like its the late 1800's and you should be heckling the acts on stage. All in a good way - lovely decor, really cool venue - decent bar too. Staff... More

Everytime I visit, I love the atmosphere at the Theatre Royal. Historical authenticity has been retained, yet there is nothing historic or stayed about the range of performances that the theatre attracts. The upstairs bar has brilliant views over the pavilion gardens and is reminiscent of a bygone era, providing a lovely sense of decadence. The staff are always incredibly... More

My wife and I have visited this particular Theatre a couple of times now and so we felt that was an ideal opportunity to write a review. On this occasion we saw a stage adaptation of Dead Simple by Peter James. The cost of our tickets were very reasonable as were the extras offered within the Theatre. This included a... More
