My partner and I highly recommend The Ghost Walk of the Lanes. The host has clearly researched the subject extensively, giving lots of local information during a short guided walk structured around a series of ghoulish local stories. It's a great fun way to explore the Lanes, and the host is funny and captivating.

Hello, Andy! Thank you for your kind review. I pleased to hear that you enjoyed my ghostly tales of the Lanes. You're, right, a good deal of work went into planning, researching, scripting and mapping out the walk. Thanks once again. Kind regards, Rob (Silas) More

Hello, my friends in Hertford! I used to live in Hertford many years ago, close to Hertford East Station in Talbot Street. Anyway, delighted to hear you enjoyed your time on the ghost walk. Many thanks for your kind review. Kind regards, Rob More

this trip would be ok but it is ruined by having to meet at the druids where the owner/landlady is not very welcoming

Hello! Pleased to hear you enjoyed the Ghost Walk of the Lanes. However, the Druid's Head is quite unrelated to the ghost walk. The pub is merely a meeting point where I always state that customers meet outside the pub. Therefore, you may like to change your review, offering one specifically for our walk, which you seemed to enjoy, and... More

My wife and I have been on a number of ghost walks. We found this one online whilst looking for things to do in Brighton. There's no need to book, just turn up at The Druids Head pub at 19:30. The storyteller was excellent and we had a very entertaining, funny and informative walk around the lanes in the rain.

Hello there! Delighted to hear you enjoyed the ghost walk. Sorry about the inclement weather. We are generally lucky with the weather and rarely seem to have a rainy night. Anyway, I hope it didn't prove to unpleasant for you. Many thanks once again for the kind review. Kind regards, Rob (Silas) More

Was our first ghost walk so we really weren't sure what to expect! anybody young or old should find the brighton walk great fun, providing you don't take it too seriously! plenty of laughs and spooky stories all the way, all for the price of less than a cinema ticket. the tour guide even took a couple of photos for... We did this walk on our first night in Brighton, both of us being big fans of fright nights and ghost walks. The meeting point is outside the Druids head pub, we got there around 7.15 for the 7.30 start. Our tour guide was brilliant dressed in old fashioned style clothes and really played the part well, we had a... More

A group of us booked as a private party for the Ghost Walk of the Lanes. We'd been on several similar ghost walks near to where we live so we had high expectations! We were greeted by a man clothed in Victorian gentleman's attire, definitely looked the part. He was charming, funny and entertaining which made the ghostly stories all... More

Hi, Shelby! I so pleased to hear how much you enjoyed the ghost walk and supper at the Cricketers. We certainly had a lot of fun, along with a few frights. I hope you all noticed the information about Robert D'Onston Stephenson (the man believed to have been Jack the Ripper) on the wall of the Ripper Room, where you... More

This was the first thing we did on our trip to brighton and it didn't disapoint, Silas was a true entertainer and had us all laughing but also bought the dramatic to the ghostly tales. The weather was not as we'd hoped but as we popped into a local inn we were offered a small shot called 'fishermans friend' which... More
