I took my foreign student that I am hosting for this experience on Halloween night. It was fun and a great atmosphere but i have to say my student didn't understand a lot of it since the delivery was very fast and rather colloquial. Still, a fabulous touristy thing to do and unique to Brighton.

Thank you for you kind review. I'm sorry to hear that your student was unable to understand much of what was said. We do, however, cater for many language schools. I adapt many of the stories to meet with their level of English; modifying the language and physicalising the storytelling to further assist their understanding. Thank you once again for... More

Fun winters evening walking around the lanes being told about the spectoral night life. Learned a lot about Brighton's history, desovered places we had never seen. Enjoyed a warming drink in Northern Lights and were highly entertained. A great trip

Delighted to hear you enjoyed your evening on the Ghost Walk of the Lanes and learned a few things about Brighton's history. Parallel to the ghost stories, we like to embrace some of the city's history, plus some comic respite along the way. Thank you once again. Kind regards, Rob (Silas) More

What Fun ! Spent a long week end Xmas shopping and had great fun on this walk with "Silas" a welcome break from from being the bag mule for my wife! The walk was very good and dug into the depths of historical Brighton. "Silas's" excellent performance made it very worth while. Just one tip during winter - wrap up... More

Definitely more funny than scary due to the use of weird props. The guide was very good though and stayed in character the whole time. The stop off at the northern lights pub was nice as well.

Thank your kind review. It's not our intention to try and scare the pants of folks. We tell eight long-established accounts of hauntings and juxtapose them with comic respite. Our audiences are out for fun more than frights. We also have a good many families with younger children on board, so we can't go too over the top. Thanks once... More

We decided to take the Lanes Ghost walk with friends on Halloween night and weren't disappointed. From the moment that our guide arrived in full Victorian dress we were transported back to a time of Ghosts and Ghouls. This was a wonderful evening spent with a very charismatic and gifted story teller. Even though it was very busy in the... More

We were visiting Brighton for the weekend to celebrate my husbands birthday. He loves all things spooky so I suggested the ghost walk after reading great reviews on here. We were not disappointed, it was really funny ( and spooky) with lots of interesting tales. A great idea if you fancy doing something different. We were lucky enough to have... More

Sir Robert certainly knows how to spin a yarn and delivers his ghostly tour with great exuberance and flair... We visited on a lovely dark evening which added to the occasion.we previously had hired Robert as a treat for our guests at our wedding and he was equally very good on both occasions... His knowledge is both informative and fun... More

This was an entertaining evening for all the family. We were visiting Brighton with teenage children who wanted to do something for halloween. My 12 year old daughter thought it fun, my 14 year old son said he was "bored". It was very busy being halloween and I think the group should have had a limit on the number as... More

Thank you for your kind review. I did used to run a ghost show in York for some six years. Interestingly, there was a tale about a drunk monk, as there is in Brighton. His name was Jacudus and he was walled up in a cellar as punishment for his indiscretions as was the wandering nun of Meeting House Lane... More

Went on the Ghost walk through the Brighton Lanes, was very entertaining just the right mix of theatrical, scary and entertaining tales. Covered some fascinating historical facts about the area without being boring. Our large group had kids and Adults and he kept us all engaged. Thank you for you kind review. I'm delighted you enjoyed the walk and your tot of 'Fisherman's Friend' It's not to everyone's taste. However, it tends to go down well on a chilly night. Kind regards, Rob (Silas) More

I had a lovely experience doing this for my birthday. There was a great mix of people in our group (different ages from around the country) and we stopped off in many places around Brighton to listen to some riveting ghost stories. Really enjoyable trip and I would do this again another evening.
