We chose this for our last night in Brighton. It was a cold but clear evening so a perfect setting for a few ghost stories. Our host (I didn't get his name unfortunately) was very enthusiastic and told the stories with a hilarious flourish. He was in costume and had props, oh, and he handed us all sweeties! He took... Had caught this ghost tour on a quiet night so it was just the two of us. Was such a great experience and you find out all the spooky tales of the lanes! We had some extra stories chucked in as it wasn't busy. We also got a 'fishermans friend' shot just for a pound! Tasted like menthol but it... More

Thank you for your 'wonderful' review. I'm so pleased you both enjoyed the Ghost Walk of the Lanes. It certainly was a ghost town that night; hardly a soul around. I'm also delighted that, alongside my ghost stories, I was able to offer you some insight into the history of Brighton. Thank you once again. Kind regards, Rob (aka Silas). More

We went on this walk a couple of years ago. We'd been Brighton residents for many years before. We were regaled with a few stories of murder and foul deeds as we walked around.....there was very little mention of ghosts however, in fact one of the people in our group exclaimed as much during the talk. It was quite entertaining... More

Many thanks for your kind review. All our tales are long-established ghost stories with a good deal of history attached. As all stories need a beginning, middle and an end, one needs to explain much of the historical background of those who spirits are said to haunt the Lanes. This also allows the actor/storyteller to slowly build dramatic tension and... More

My boyfriend and I love this sort of thing and have done a few of them before so when we looked at things to do during our night stay in Brighton we knew we had to do this and we were not disappointed. Ebanezer was our ghostly guide and he was brilliant, great jokes, fun and Inetesting, winding our way... More

Thank you for your kind and positive review. I'm so pleased you enjoyed the Ghost Walk of the Lanes and, moreover, Ebenezer's performance. It's interesting that you would have liked the walk to have been longer as I'm always concerned that I sometimes run into 80 minutes. Anyway, I'm sure you're aware of the old showbiz adage - leave them... More

Took this tour as part of a 3 day trip visiting Brighton last week with my 17 year old and 13 year old. Really enjoyed it. Silas was very informative, good fun and all in all just over an hour well spent.

This was ok. If you are at loose end, just turn up at the Druids Head its an interesting history of Brighton with a few gruesome tales thrown in. The speaker was very theatrical and made us laugh and we had some great pics. Didn't know that jack the Ripper visited Brighton

Many thanks for the review and please you enjoyed the ghost walk. No one is really sure who Jack the Ripper was. However, there is much speculation that he was Robert D'Onston Stephenson, a former surgeon, who stayed at the Cricketers pub in Brighton in 1888 prior to carrying out the Whitechapel murders. Thanks again for the review. More

We had such a good time on the ghost walk! We were actually the only ones on the walk when we went, probably due to the awful windy weather so it was like a personal tour of the lanes with some spooky stories thrown in - excellent! Our guide Silas was chatty and informative and although we didn't have the... More

Greetings! Yes, indeed, you were my precious two on that wet and windy night. Fortunately the inclement weather has now passed and things are on a more even keel with plenty of ghost hunters coming through. I’m delighted you both enjoyed the walk. It was also a joy for me to be able to chat with you and to offer... More

So. pleased you enjoyed the ghost walk. Yes, we always aim to add plenty of comic respite along the way. All the tales are from long- established accounts of hauntings in the old quarter. However, we like to adopt a tongue-in-cheek approach and ensure everyone has bit of a giggle. Many thanks once again for such a positive review. Kind... More

Worth a go, if only to hear the guides wise crack jokes as he shows you around Brighton's haunted past. Takes about an hour, wrap up warm if doing this at Halloween as it tends to get a bit chilly down those dark passageways. Tongue in cheek, but we enjoyed it with our 15 year old and friends. Be prepared... More

Many thanks for your kind review. Yes, it can get rather chilly of an evening in January. However, many folks like coming on the walk of a gloomy night; adds to the atmosphere. Thank you once again. Kind regards, Rob (Silas). More
