Never have I been so terrified of the ghosts who haunt the lanes in Brighton. They leapt upon me from the shadows and their wails and moans filled my tortured head to bursting point. One, in a shaven head and bomber jacket even set upon me demanding a lighter !! I've never been so haunted by the spooky goings on... More

Hello! I'm not altogether sure quite how to respond to your review. Firstly, I'm not sure whether it was the Ghost Walk of the Lanes you attended, as nothing you have mentioned seemed to indicates same. We have, in the past, been confused with other walks. Secondly, whether you enjoyed it, as you only offer one star, which seems to... More

My boyfriend and I did this walk in August with Rob. Ourselves and three other people were attending the sunday evening walk. Because there were only five of us Rob could tell us extra ghost stories. We really enjoyed it and would reccomend it to everyone! Not much ghostly activity but it was a nice walk with a lot of... More

Hi, Lauri! Thank you for your kind review...and for coming back a second time around! The Sunday night show is often quiet, we probably won't run for seven nights in August next year. However, it was to your advantage as I was able to add a few extra tales. Delighted to hear you all enjoyed yourselves. Thank you once again.... More

Jasper did his best tonight to get the crowd going on this entertaining, informative and cheeky walking tour. We've been on a number of similar walks in London and Bath, with and without our kids and the thing we have learnt is that it's just as much the responsibility of the customers to enter into the 'spirit’ (pun intended) of... Hello! Pleased to hear you enjoyed your evening with Jasper and, moreover, his playful banter. It's all in good humour and we never force members of the public to participate. All we seek is to see that our customers have a good time and enjoy a few laughs and a few screams! Thank you once again. Kind regards, Rob (Silas) More

My husband and I did this ghost walk with a couple of friends and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The guy who ran it came out with lots of interesting facts, interspersed with some good humour.

Hello, Veronica! Many thanks for your kind review. I'm delighted to hear how much you both enjoyed the ghost walk. We do our best to cram in as much as we can in the 75 mins or so and embrace esoteric facts, snippets of Brighton history and humour alongside the ghostly tales. Kind regards, Rob (Silas) More

Highly entertaining. Bear in mind that this is a piece of entertainment and not necessarily an example of method acting. The humour may not be to everyone's taste however Ebenezer, our tour, is such a thoroughly amusing man one finds oneself laughing at all of his ghoulish jokes. I recommend to anyone who has a penchant for the creepy and... More

Great experience. There was only four of us on the tour that evening but Ebenezer (Alan) was very amusing and put lots of effort in to inform and entertain us despite the small group. Totally recommend!

Hello! Please to hear how much you enjoyed the ghost walk in the company of Ebenezer on one of our quieter nights. Smaller audiences are often have the added bonus of being afforded a few extra tales and information on route. Thank you for your kind review. Kind regards, Rob (Silas) More

The guide arrived with his bell ringing all dressed in black with his top hat. There were some little kids and even a baby on the walk so we thought oh no it's going to be too silly and over the top but we were wrong. The guide was very good because he told us spooky tales of sadness and... More

Hello! thank you for your generous review. I was pleased to hear you enjoyed the ghost walk. Although all the stories come from long-established accounts of hauntings in and around the old quarter, we like to inject some light-hearted fun. Furthermore, it's always good to have children on board. All of whom seem to relish the ghoulish props I pull... More

Myself and my partner went to this tour and had great fun! For £8 each you can't complain. Well over 75 mins of fun and very interesting facts. Our tour guide was Ebenezer who was a very nice chap and cracked the odd cheesey joke, but was a very knowledgeable person who filled us in with plenty of information about... More

Hello! I was delighted to hear how much you enjoyed the tour with Brother Ebenezer. Many of our tales embrace a good deal history. Furthermore, Ebenezer is extremely knowledgeable on the history of Brighton and its many interesting buildings. I actually did the Ghost Walk several years ago (not in December 2014 as I've marked below) when it was organised for our work Christmas "do" (we did the Walk and then had Christmas dinner at the Druids Head). I would thoroughly recommend it to tourists and locals alike - it is extremely well done, witty and very well researched:... More

Hello! Thank you for you kind review and that you felt the walk was well guided. We certainly do pass down some spooky little lanes and, at the same time, do service to many local businesses, as our customers get to see many shops, restaurants and pubs along the way. Thank you once again. Rob (Silas) More
