We took refuge on a day out when it rained and dived into this lovely local Inn. The staff were all so friendly and let us all sit by their huge open fire and dry off. We had our children and dog with us and nothing was a problem. We were all looked after wonderfully and enjoyed some lovely food... More

Went camping in Alfriston over the Bank Holiday Weekend - and decided to come here for Sunday lunch, due to the good deal 2 course menu for £9.99. Went inside and was pleasantly surprised to find a massive garden out the back for th kids to play in. Food was top notch, had a fantastic starter of smoked salmon followed... More

We stayed here for a wedding the other day with our 5 year old and 1 year old and it was perfect for our stay in the lovely village of Alfriston. Loved the style of the room (was like a Boutique style) and it was very comfortable and clean too. Staff were VERY helpful and friendly especially at breakfast time... More

We stayed at Ye Old Smugglers Inne 11th - 13th March 2014. Couldn't fault it. Arrived to a very warm welcome by Simon and his wonderful team, who couldn't have been more accommodating if they tried! We stayed in the Harveys Room, very cosy and spacious. Massive in fact, and had use of our very own bathroom with shower next... More

We had a friendly greeting when we arrived and the staff and regulars made us feel welcome for our 2 night stay. The room was comfortable and the lounge was homey. We ate, we drank, people played with our dogs and we considered staying longer. Sadly, we needed to get back to the north for work.
