The ruins of the once mighty Corfe Castle are still impressive. It stands on top of a hill in a very scenic rural landscape. The little village of Corfe Castle, at the foot of the ruin, is picturesque. This is where Enid Blyton wrote her children's books and you can imagine where she got the inspiration from.
