Absolutely in awe at the workmanship in this abbey. Spent a good half hour inside before walking out into the grounds for some very nice photos. If you like Abbey's and churches then please if passing pay a visit as I'm so glad I did.

Beautiful Abbey that dominates this absolute gem of a West Country town. Built on a similar scale to a Cathedral, with all the many attributes. Harmonizes with the impressive architecture of the public school alongside. A trip to Olivers Café after a morning service here is to be recommended,

Really just stumbled upon this place. It looks fairly impressive from the outside, but inside is definitely better. Really nice architecture, nice to see quite a bit of it (including the bright wall colours on the ceiling) escaped the overzealousness of the post Henry VIII monastery sacking. Worth a visit.

The Abbey is free to visit (though donations are appreciated) and it is well worth a visit, whilst looking around Sherborne. The Abbey is like a cathedral, with amazing architecture. We spent about 30 mins there.
