Phenomenal museum but rude staff.

The dinosaurs are breathtaking and are the highlight of the show but the staff member was very rude when asking about pricing.

We have visited Dorchester before but never had the time to visit this particular museum, which was obviously a shame as it was very interesting inside. I wont give too much away as to spoil your visit, but very worthwhile.

Decent little place, quite expensive for what it is. Some rather dated interactive items for the children. My daughter is 3 and did enjoy the large dinosaur statues, overall an ok place to spend an hour - but no more.

Nice compact museum with some great exhibits and films to watch. Gets very crowded and is a small venue. When it is raining you will need to get there early. Lots of interesting exhibits and facts and figures. If your child like reading, they will enjoy it, if they don't it will be a very short visit

Me,my wife and our 16 month old boy went on 18/09/15. Its a small museum but quite good for little ones because our son enjoyed pressing switches and feeling the dinosaur like skins etc. A little dated and could do with modernising but a nice little place.

wow it was incredible thought that we were acually on the set of Jurassic park, the kids absolute loved every minute the videos, the facts, the fossils and the life sized dinosaurs were unbelievable, such an amazing time was had by all so many different things to see and do,a little on the expensive side but once inside you realise... A very expensive 15 minute visit to a museum. Children are the under 16's in this museum so had to pay for 3 adults and 2 child. A total cost of around £30.00. Not happy! the building itself appears to be a terrace house that has been converted. Very small rooms, poor exhibits and if it wasn't for the fact... More

Staff very helpful and quite informative tour with good photo opportunities. Probably more suitable for young families with kids.

We visited when it opened at 10am as previous days had queues out of the door. It cost about £17 for myself and 2 kids (5 and 7). I thought this was expensive given the size of the place and the fact you can only really spend an hour there. The quiz for the kids was good fun and not... More

Visited with family recently. Quite expensive although good informative information and displays. It is situated in a house, no specific parking, although there is parking fairly nearby. Spent approximately an hour, not very good value for money.

Thank Bev S
