This is on a par with Gnasher,s Chewing Gum Museum. It Needs rethinking, modernising and decent funding . We perfered the Display across in the Dorchester Museum. if you've not been to a dinosaur museum and you are very little you might enjoy it but as we've been to the natural history museum many times ( living in London) we... ... Velocicraptor ... Triceraplops ... words can't describe quite how poor this is. As I walked in, I thought to myself that there are two organisations that won't be losing any sleep. The first is the Natural History museum. The second is Jurassic Park. And to think, the Natural History Museum is free and the other one's not even real.... More

Honestly, this place looks like it could have been cobbled together by a student doing coursework it's honestly that poor. Laminated fading wall posters and shockingly dated all round. It's so poor it's hardly worthy of typing this negative review. You should be ashamed of yourselves with the entrance cost.

My 3 and 5 year olds are Dinosaur mad and had picked up a flyer for the museum in the hotel lobby. After reading numerous bad reviews on here, I was very sceptical about visiting, but as we were stopping nearby in Weymouth, We decided to go in on a "rainy" day. My boys loved being able to touch artefacts... More

This is the kind of museum that's on it's last legs - dull, boring, seen better days and offering little for the cost if the ticket. A sad collection of artifacts thrown together, badly curated with little imagination - really not worth the entrance price - sorry I don't like to write a bad review but you really need to... More

As others have mentioned, I thought the admission price of £20 was steep for the size of the place. Having said that my 6 year old was so absorbed by the whole museum and the exhibits were so easy for him to read and understand. We had an Easter egg hunt to follow, again he enjoyed finding the answers and... More

I took my 3 and 6 year old boys here and they loved it the staff are very welcoming and there was plenty for the boys to see and do. It is quite expensive to get in but the boys loved it so was worth the money. My only real disappointment was that being on the jurrasic coast i just... More

We went here and paid £20 to walk round a old building that's living off being on blue peter once. It takes about 20 mins to walk a round this place.this place is truly awful.

The recent reviews seemed to have covered all bases. My grandchildren loved it. NOT expensive. Very hands on and the gift shop is very reasonably priced. It's a good trip through time and in a children's eyes that's what it does. Ok, there could be a bit more polish in some areas but on the budget that the private owners... More

Was rather worried after seeing the score out of 5, then reading some of the reviews, but I am glad I ignored them. Our kids (almost 6, almost 8) had a blast, so much for them to do, but not overwhelming. They had a quiz sheet to fill in, which mean they took lots more interest in the exhibits than... More
