Due to deep water NO CHILDREN under 14 years of age. NO DOGS. We are now open every day from 11am to 5pm. Entry is £10 per person. Entry to the Gallery is free. Described as one of the most beautiful and unique sculpture parks in the United Kingdom, Sculpture by the Lakes marries the soft beauty of nature's wild river landscape with the more formal presentation of monumental outdoor sculpture. It is that combination of art and landscape that inspires Sculpture by the Lakes. Whether it is work on a monumental scale that relates to its environment, or smaller works, the sculptures of Simon Gudgeon are perfectly placed in the delicately nurtured natural landscape to visually enhance their surroundings. The effect is a balance, a harmony of form and context where the experience is central. Without walls, without interpretation, each person can engage with the art and the ever-changing environment.

Great, thought provoking sculptures. Wonderful landscape and lots of wildlife especially along the butterfly border. Lots of nice places to have a picnic. Don't forget, no children (of any age) or dogs.

Really enjoyed not just the sculptures but the garden too. Planning to return with friends and to hire The Pavilion but would want good weather!

This is a brilliant place to visit, the sculptures were so in tune with the environment. Will definitely be going back for a visit.

Oh these are lovely sculptures indeed. The site is a lot smaller than I expected and because we went out of season we felt as if it was our personal garden with wonderful art in it. We completed our visit in an hour but in warmer weather it may be worth taking a picnic to prolong the visit as it... More

I was not sure what to expect as I am not really into sculpture other than I know what I like/dislike. I am however into the outdoors & I found the combination of the two overwhelming. They have created a very special & unique location which allows you to soak up the environment completely hassle free. Make sure you explore... More

Beautiful gardens, fantastic seeing sculpture in a natural setting. Loved the sculptures of heads and Fairies. Well worth a visit. On the downside facilities are poor. Only one toilet and no drinks for sale. Definitely need to take you own supplies especially on a hot afternoon.
