We got this as part of gold pass where we got 5 attractions for the price of two. It was ok, some comical bears that are impressions of people like bearry manilow. I probably... read more

Brilliant place to visit, there's lots to see and the bears are so cute! You can take your photograph with the bears which is lovely. There are stairs so not suitable for anyone who has difficulty in climbing them. There is a joint ticket you can buy here which makes it much cheaper? You can buy this joint ticket for £15.95... We arrived to visit the museum along with another couple, the first couple turned right round and walked out. We did the same when seeing that the entry charge was £5.99 each!. We were not able to find out in advance the prices from their leaflets or advertising. We now know why. I am sure that this is a very... More

Visited as part of the Golden ticket of 5 museums for a group price, wouldn't have instantly been a choice to go to but please we did - loads to see and our 3 year old loved seeing all the bears - a wide variety, old and new, small and large not to mention the display of sooty playing the... More

Ok so here's the good points: - my 2 year old liked going in the rooms and touching the items he could touch - the staff are very nice. Here's the rest: - I wouldn't class this as a museum, it's like the old house of someone who hoarded teddy bears - it's too small for the price - we... More

My Wife had wanted to visit the Bears for some time now. We were not disappointed. It's a grand place with bears of all sizes and shapes, all done in interesting separate rooms, the bedroom is great as there are about 7 bears in bed, and the kitchen too. It starts with the history of the teddy bear. You can... More

What a fantastic find in Dorchester. My wife and I love bears, so this was a little treat to come and see a house where adult-sized bears live with all their friends. many well-known teddies are represented such as Paddington and Rupert as well as many others in lovely rooms laid out like a real house. Well worth a visit... More

Great little attraction housed above the Terracotta warrior museum. Just good, simple fun - telling the story of the teddy bear with lots of bears young and old to look at and photograph. Recommend the goldsaverpass ticket to cover admission to this and 4 other attractions.

I am a great lover of teddy bears (I'd have more than I currently have if I was allowed) I really enjoyed this visit and took lots and lots of photographs. I thought it may have given a bit more of a history of the teddy bear (for those who don't actually know it) but it was interesting and I... More
