I'll start my review by saying that Robert Plant was simply sensational, an utterly amazing performance, top quality sound and lights - the best I've ever seen him and his band (and this is a lot). I've been to the Academy many times with varying results but with minimal travelling and I never thought RP would grace the stage again... More

Have seen the Manics, Gary Numan and The Boomtown Rats at the O2 in 2014. Really intimate location and easy to find in the traffic-free centre of Boscombe. Loads of local parking and places to eat. Always find the staff and security here very friendly. Getting drinks at the bar can be a bit slow and the prices here are... More

Nice venue once inside, relaxed and nice atmosphere. Passenger was amazing and enjoyed every minute. Down side were the toilets like those awful metal public loos expect bad toilets at festivals but not in a venue like this, also why do 02 customers get priority getting in, standing in the rain watching people who had joined the queue long after... As in other reviews this sell out concert seemed to catch the O2 staff out, doors advertised to open at 7pm on a wet and windy night and finally opened at 7.15, with O2 phone owners given priority, so arriving at 6.40pm we eventually walked through the doors very cold at and disgruntled at 7.40pm. It was good to have... More

I have not been to this venue since it was Tiffanys in 1990,I think it was terrible that you had to queue for so long in the cold weather, especially when we already had tickets. I think it was appalling that you could stand in an equally long queue able to get in a couple of mins earlier if you... More

Travelled here to see the amazing Mr Plant. The venue is nice, it was supposed to open its doors at 7pm but they were 15 mins late and it was freezing. As we were stood in the queue priority to enter was given to people with 02 phones. What is that all about? Just let in the people who have... More

Ive been to the venue for years in it's may incarnations and it is a great place to see bands, decent size but able to get a good view from most parts. The downside is the bars are in the venue, rather than separate, and the chatter from the people at the bar is distracting during quieter moments...it seems incredible... More

Having made trip from Kent to see above were bitterly disappointed - the venue and staff were late and shoddy preparing for queues of people who had stood in pouring rain for over an hour before they emerged from inside to start putting together barriers. Once inside had to stand and wait for further two and half hours before band... More
