Lovely, clean pier. Great to stand and peer out across the shoreline

Really like Bournemouth as a holiday destination, golden, sandy beaches, warm sea, cliff side lifts and the cleanest pier to stroll along.

It's a pier, it's a long wooden platform that you can view the sea from. With this one you have to pay to get up onto it, but it's only £1 for the weekend so it's barely anything really. The arcades on it are very fun with coin pushers and win every time machines. At the end of the pier... More

Traveling with two Englishmen who were also surprised an disappointed that we had to pay just to walk to the end of the pier basically decided that we wouldn't. It looked nice and like a lot of fun, but we decided to go walking on the beach and play in the arcade instead.

Have to pay to go on the pier which doesn't consist of much. Nice view however not worth paying for unless you eat in the restaurant

Had a stroll along the pier and the children enjoyed the fairground rides at the entrance. I thought the charge was a bit of a strange idea to wander along a pier but we were impressed by the cafe at the end which could easily have overcharged, to its captive market but was actually reasonably priced and good enough for... when we went to the pier we knew what was there as we have been there twice before but this time we noticed there were not as many rides due to the storm in Feburary.

The front end of the Pier is really nice, shame the is closed of at dusk. Why you may ask? So inquisitive as we all are one travels back at daytime to look further. Only to be extremely disappointed, asking yourselves why? did I pay entrance fee just for One children ride & Hook a duck

Went there after after a day spent with the family at Sandbanks Beach. Because we went in the late afternoon, we missed boat trips( I think). We had a great time. The kids went a few rides, very happy kids. Even I went on the merry go round horse and I absolutely enjoyed it. I did not find it too... More
