"Lovely Park To Walk Your Dog "

As a resident of Queens Park I walk across here often with my dog. Enough said, a lovely well maintained park to walk your dog.

I walk my dog here often and while a golf course, pedestrians have right of way as it is council owned. Delightful part of town, beautifully upkept and maintained and wonderful for golf or dog walkers who always seem to respect each others space. In the rain stay under the trees, in the summer enjoy the wide open green spaces.

I am an ex-season ticket holder here and have recently started to enjoy my golf again. I decided to turn up for a round at queens at about 5 o clock but there was nobody at the shop. Just a sign saying "back shortly" so I played on the putting green for 10 minutes and waited for a further 10... More

I have played golf here during the last five years & the only regular drawback is having dog walkers wandering all over the course, which is on common land. A sometimes difficult & demanding terrain for the older golfer, depending on the weather, although buggies are available. The members are very friendly & the refreshment service & prices are reasonable..

The golf course is good the greens are in good condition the only trouble is the public & the pesky dog walkers who have the right of way on the golf course. They walk right across the fairways they don't care if you are taking a shot it's you who are in the wrong if you hit them with a... More

The Clubhouse was a bit basic but the course was reasonably well kept and an interesting course. Because it is open to the public you have to be careful and watch out for dog walkers, joggers and chidren walking, but it was very pleasant ! Plus I won!!!! :-)
