This is a huge cinema in Bournemouth ( one of 2 along Westover Road ) Each cinem is somewhat "tatty" especially the toilets & the smaller screens. What makes still go back to these cinemas though are the big,big screens at their main screen. The size of these big screens are just fantastic for viewing blockbuster films.

We wanted to see the film Mr Turner whilst on holiday, and as we always use our local Odeon decided to go to the Bournemouth one. What a disappointment. It was rather shabby, but the seats were so hard and uncomfortable. My husband considered going back to the box office to exchange our tickets for the premium seats, but decided... More

Vibrating speakers - loud enough to completely ruin any film - Staff that do not point out that a particular screening was for the deaf and we had to suffer the written words on the screen throughout, and when we complained we got a rude manager who saw nothing wrong. BOY has this cinema gone down hill and is in... More

Poorly presented, overpriced and in need of serious attention. The seats were very uncomfortable and so badly arranged that the film was obscured by the heads of people in front. There was a hole in the screen - can you believe that - and the house lights came up BEFORE the film had finished. And that wasn't the worst of... More

After having a choice of going to Weymouth, Poole, Dorchester or Bournemouth to watch a film we chose here - not a good choice. The film itself wasn't good (which didn't help) but we found the refreshments extremely expensive and staff not responsive. The cinema itself was awful. Going inside the place looked old and run down, with uncomfortable standard... More

Went to see Lucy in this cinema. It was nice to watch the movie in an old style of cinema. Note though there are 2 seperate Odeons on the same street (2 minute walk apart) with different cinema times! This almost caught us out as we went to the wrong cinema for the film show that we wanted!

when i came here it was very nice and quiet and the theatres are a good size. As usual cinemas are expensive but that's to be expected. I enjoyed my visit and i loved the film!

We took two children aged 6 and 4 and paid extra for the premier seats. The extra expense was a waste as the seats are not staggered and because of this both of the kids were unable to see over the back of the unoccupied seats in the row in front. As there were only 3 more people in the... More
