Took my son here for a mid week treat, after finishing his exams, to watch Jurassic World. This was being shown on Screen 1. The sheer size of the auditorium and screen make any film feel epic. The staff were fantastic and very well spoken, especially the young man in the popcorn kiosk. I would say the only negative point... More

I was looking forward to seeing the big screen outing of Spooks with my wife. We were in Bournemouth, so decided to try the local Odeon. The movie was being shown on screen 5 and what a disappointment! Very poor picture quality and the sound was appalling, my home cinema set up is better than this. Also, the main wall... More

I went there to watch a film knowing it's alittle expensive but as I rarely ever go to the cinema I thought I would treat myself. Found out prices on their website & thought ok it's a one off.Went to pay & suddenly an extra pound was added on just because the film was an American blockbuster!!.How on earth can... More

Paid the going rate for a larger than average cinema seat. We were a little disappointed with the sound proofing. We watched the Stephen Hawking film, which had some very intense, but quiet scenes. We could hear the noise and even the dialogue of the film being shown in the adjoining cinema. This spoilt our experience.

I liked going to watch the films and I don't like the prices of the drinks and snacks so I went and brought my own in Bournemouth town centre as it was so expenisive

This is a huge cinema in Bournemouth ( one of 2 along Westover Road ) Each cinem is somewhat "tatty" especially the toilets & the smaller screens. What makes still go back to these cinemas though are the big,big screens at their main screen. The size of these big screens are just fantastic for viewing blockbuster films.

We wanted to see the film Mr Turner whilst on holiday, and as we always use our local Odeon decided to go to the Bournemouth one. What a disappointment. It was rather shabby, but the seats were so hard and uncomfortable. My husband considered going back to the box office to exchange our tickets for the premium seats, but decided... More

Vibrating speakers - loud enough to completely ruin any film - Staff that do not point out that a particular screening was for the deaf and we had to suffer the written words on the screen throughout, and when we complained we got a rude manager who saw nothing wrong. BOY has this cinema gone down hill and is in... More

Poorly presented, overpriced and in need of serious attention. The seats were very uncomfortable and so badly arranged that the film was obscured by the heads of people in front. There was a hole in the screen - can you believe that - and the house lights came up BEFORE the film had finished. And that wasn't the worst of... More
