Very small, took under 20 minutes to see everything the oceanarium had to offer. The sharks on display were very small. Expensive considering price paid for tickets.

The aquarium is a bit small- but the wide range of creatures makes up for it. There is also a cafe that overlooks the seafront to your right and the penguin enclosure on your left. The aquarium is reasonably priced- I paid £11.99 on the day.

We visited here on the rainiest day of the summer, and it was predictably pretty packed. Despite this, we saw everything and in fact the crowds meant we didn't whizz past all the different tanks too quickly. Watching the Green Turtles, rays, eels and sharks (above, below and from the side) was mesmerising. The Oceanarium is kept in brilliant condition... More

My Husband and I are on holiday in Bournemouth. Was recommended we should visit the Oceanarium. Enjoyed the hour or so we spent walking around. Try to get there a little earlier if you want to watch the feeding time.

Surprisingly bigger than it looks. The new penguin area really adds to it. Educational visit for children.

We visited on a very wet day as we found it hard to find many other bad weather options, I think many others had the same idea as it was a bit too cramped and more busy than we would have liked. That said we and our one year old enjoyed looking at the fish, turtles, sharks, otters and walking... More

We payed 17 pounds online for two tickets and we were hopeing to find something remarkable but we we very dissapointed as it was too small and not much to see. For a place on the beach they should offer a one of a kind experience instead of rushing to get the money and offer crap things. Cute animals .... More

Really enjoyed the Oceanarium although we missed the penguins arrival this year (Arriving around Sept 15) but the other creatures were very interesting and there is quite a lot to see - particularly enjoyed watching the otters.
