The fish and sea life were lovely to see but it's very small and only took us about an hour to go round and that included listening to one of the talks. We paid about £18 to get in so it's really bad value for money. If you've got 2 or 3 children the cost is prohibitive and on a... More

We paid £19.95 for a online family ticket, only went due to wet weather, we were rd and out within 40 minutes, interesting enough and tanks all very clean and maintained, otters and the walk through tunnel the best bit. Very small though and expensive for the experience.

We were spending the day on the beech front. Yes, probably within an hour we had seen round. However , we were able to pop back later on to catch the feeding of the sharks. I actually liked it for not being as big.

Really enjoyed my visit here. Waking above, through and around the tank with turtles and sharks in it was fantastic. It's right beside the sandy beach and as the ticket is valid all day, we were able to go around the aquarium twice and enjoy the beach between visits.

I think it was an ok place but it just wasn't big enough and it's to expensive. My kids enjoyed it but it was over in a blink of an eye really.

If you are in the Bournemouth area you really must visit the Oceanarium. We visit every time we're in the area and never get bored of it. The giant turtles are amazing. Pay once and go in as many times as you like during the day. It is very relaxing and informative. The displays are all so very clean making... More

For the price it was not really worth it... We walked round the entire oceanarium just shy of 40 mins. Although saying that it was interesting to see the different wildlife and the otters were adorable! Must say that all of the creatures are very well looked after and they have lots of space and natural habitat imitations to keep... More

Visited the Oceanarium on 21st August with my 1 year old and 5 year old having pre-booked tickets online to get a cheaper entry fee. As I had the 1 year old I also had a buggy and I was a little worried about how we would get round as the Oceanarium is on 2 floors, I needn't have worried... More

I took my brother here for his birthday, wasn't that expensive to get in, but it was sooooo packed you could hardly get through with out bumping in to anyone......and because of that we rushed round which meant we missed things. I would go again but not in the summer holidays, just not worth it really.

Had a lovely time at the oceanarium today. They staff were happy and helpful. It's just a shame it's so small, would be awesome if it was bigger. The only upset we found today were a couple of older kids (my children are 7 and 4 so these kids must have been about 10 and 13) were scooting around inside... More
