The gardens are beautifully maintained. There is plenty of room to rest on the grass, plenty of places to get something to eat and drink from. Lots of wild life to interact with,

The Lower Gardens lead down to the beach, which are very well kept. There's a few tea kiosks, an aviary, art show, a balloon ride and a stream that runs the length of garden. A nice relaxing place to stroll.... would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the unsavoury characters sitting here and there begging. It felt quite... More

I passed through the Lower Gardens on my way from the BIC to the stands for local 'buses. I used the public conveniences and was pleased that they were both existent and open. As I needed to take the X3 to Salisbury as the first leg of my journey back to Devon, I did not have time to tarry in... More

The gardens were well laid out and very nice, however in the mornings you have to watch out for the dossers and back packers emerging from the trees, and in the evenings the rats running around for the food left for the birds well maintained with good facilities.

Having lived in bournemouth I have always loved Bournemouth Gardens. They are beautifully maintained & are an asset to bournemouth. Perfect place for a walk wether it be a hot sunny day or a crisp cold winters day. Always something to look at whatever the time of year.

When you visit these gardens you are amazed at the variety of plants, I think most were tropical as I didn't recognise many of the plants, a lovely place to wander and sit and enjoy.

These gardens are well established and immaculately kept. There is no rubbish and the whole area is very tidy. The flower beds are well stocked and very pretty. On a hot sunny September day these gardens looked lovely. There is a pleasant atmosphere and plenty of coffee shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Well worth a visit.

Both Lower and Upper Gardens are the heart of Bournemouth, and are immaculately tidy with lots of colour. The giant balloon is fun to see, and the hot doughnuts in the cafe at the South end are delicious!
