After walking along the promenade from the west cliff we were heading for the town centre and followed the footpath that took us through the lower gardens. We were overwhelmed with these beautiful ,well kept gardens .They are indeed a credit to Bournemouth.

Bournemouth Council keep these gardens immaculately. They are a joy to walk through to get from the town centre to the beach. This area has a meandering walk through gardens. There is a balloon you can ride in, little cafes and a aviary. A pleasant walk from the beach to the town centre.

It is always clean and tidy no matter what time of year you visit. There are always plenty of trees and shrubs all year round. In summer months lots of flowers with seating all over

it's a lovely place to relax and have a walk, and then you can take a sunbath. It's highly recommended to everyone.
