These gardens are really well tended and are quite beautiful this time of year. the rhododendrons are stunning. It is lovely to be so close to town but feel as though you are in the middle of nowhere. There are plenty of places to sit and enjoy the tranquility.

For anyone wishing to visit the gardens I have my lunch breaks everyday in the garden due to the lovely greenery surrounding me and the little stream right in the centre. Very well looked after and the squirrel's are so use to people they will approach you for food. Their is also several restaurants being built on rear side which... More

The candle light displays that can be lit by children or adults each week during the summer are spectacular and well worth seeing. Bournemouth gardens are undergoing new attractions on the seal front to be completed by the summer 2015

A lovely place to walk from the town centre through to Bournemouth pier. The gardens are well kept and very clean. Lots of seating areas and a great place to sit on a summers day or evening and watch the world go by. There are lots of squirrels within these gardens and they love being fed and are very friendly... In the middle of Bournemouth there is nice oasis the garden. I liked there was a board telling you about the history of Bournemouth. There are facilities to use as well. Also there is hot air balloon ride but be warned it is expensive! My favourite bit of the garden was the crazy golf, It has 18 holes with some... More

This area is a little gem. During the summer there are live performances from bands/light orchestras/quartets well, all types of music. You can sit on the grass and listen for free. Unless I'm mistaken it has a very mellow atmosphere with all types rubbing along nicely. Pleasant surroundings just up from the pier. If you like aviaries there is a... More

A lovely walk through the Lower Gardens from either the 'Square' entrance or the 'Pier' entrance. Beautifully kept flower beds and lawns with the 'Bourne' stream flowing through. An array of different plants with great shows of colour all year round. Visit the aviary, play Crazy Golf, have a ride in the Balloon or just relax on one of the... More
