Went to Bournemouth in July 2014. Decided to look up things to do, I found a boat tour around the Poole Harbour. The pictures of Poole Harbour looked amazing!! When we got there it was a different story. Looked nothing like the pictures. Wouldn't recommend the Poole harbour tour at all to be honest. It was boring!! I nearly fell... More

The boat was perfect, it was clean, comfortable and the staff were welcoming. Not only were they on hand for refreshments at a comfortable pace and without being prompted, the three staff on board were warm, smiley and friendly. They were on hand to take endless photos of our party as well! The cream tea was served at a perfect... More

We did the Poole Harbour and beyond tour, it took just over an hour and was worth every penny. We went on the beautifully restored Dorset Queen which offered a selection of different seating. Up top with unrestricted views, if you wanted to brave the cold wind. Out at the back where the views were still great but it was... More

Booked the return cruise from Swanage-Poole.Lovely little old boat with lots of character-sit at the back where you get fantastic views but are sheltered from the wind.Great commentary from crew-sometimes informative, sometimes comical but all adds to the journey. It takes just over 1 hour with a short stop at Brownsea Island where you can also disembark. The cruise gives you fantastic views... We took the Dorset Cruise boat from Poole to Swanage and then the Swanage Railway up to Corfe Castle then back again. It was a great day out. Our twins aged 5 enjoyed their first boat trip and the Castle was the right size for them to enjoy without getting bored! They always love train trips. The boat trip included... More

We did the Swanage to Pool (and return) cruise with a couple of hours in Poole inbetween. Pick a nice day and stay outside (wrap up if chilly, sun cream if sunny), the views of the jurassic coast, old harry and brownsea island are to die for. We also sailed in alongside one of the Channel Island fast cats, which... More

I went on a fireworks boat cruise for my birthday with 8 friends. We ordered the fish and chip dinner which was served up as soon as we got on the boat which was great because we were all really hungry. The chips were good but the fish wasn't great and there were no sauces offered aside from salt and... More

Dorset cruises run a cruise from Bournemouth pier at 11.00a.m. and 4.00p.m. for a cruise past Old Harry Rocks to Swanage which takes around 1 ½ hours for a round-trip and costs £12.50 each which is very good value and you can purchase tickets from a booth at the pier entrance. The Captain on the return journey from Swanage provides... More
