the staff at the BIC were friendly, helpful and pleasant. The inside of the Centre was much larger than appeared from the outside.

We were really pleased with our first visit to the International Centre. It is located near the beach, the town gardens and shops. It was well laid out, with plenty of space for thousands of people to get in and out, with no queues.

The venue is fine. Toilets nice and clean with lots of them. Drinks - 4.20 for a pint of Carlsberg :-( seems like a lot of money. Only want to buy a pint each at the piece. Watched Daryl Hall and John Oates. Longfellows were supporting them. They are a new band to me, but we're really great.

The food and drinks in the centre are vastly overpriced, they have a captive audience and seem to take full advantage

Third time of visiting, for the same annual cheerleading competition. This is a good venue, easy to find (well signposted) with own adjoining car park - for which the prices are rather high and well laid out inside. Would be interested to go to a concert or other performance here. Reception/security/lost property staff helpful re. information, lost item, etc- but... More

Watched George Benson in concert, with encore VIP meal option. The BIC is easy to access, bit of a struggle to get out of car park at end of concert - to be expected, had reserved parking option included which was good. Seating was reasonably comfortable, our seats were in row DD in the left side of the terrace, enough... More

Paid a LARGE sum for a front row seat, no sooner had show started than my view disappeared by the crowd from behind encroaching forward so anybody sat in front row couldn't even see the stage. The management were as useful as a chocolate fireguard, I actually left the hall so didn't even see or hear the show. Wouldn't return... More

Went to the BIC for a James Blunt concert on my birthday in April. Great evening, very nice auditorium with great acoustics, easy access to seats and subtle lighting. Drinks at the bar are extortionate, which is to be expected I suppose but, even so, make sure you have got some serious cash on you if you want anything more... More
