Totally blown away by this place - this is one of our favorite all time places. Beautiful beach huts, by the plenty - fantastic place to relax - plan to hire one of the huts - one day soon :)

We love walking down to the beach hut cafe along by the beach. Its a long enough walk from the start to feel like you've gone far enough but still enough energy to walk back. Lovely surroundings and beautiful beach with big sand dunes for the dogs and kids to climb up!

Hengistbury Head is an area to enjoy at almost any time of the year and I very often walk there with my dog. There are ample car parking facilities, either in the car park itself or for a limited time on the road. The beach facing the Isle of Wight Needles is mostly shingle with sand at the very edge... Theres a large carpark, The a good walk over the hill, or along the beach theres wood and ponds ( watch out they are very deep and the banks are deseptive you could well end up going in) its just fresh air and exersise, theres a cafe in the car park for refreshments, make sure you take water with you.

Wonderful views and great walk over and around. Charming little shop at the far end (not the one in car park so much). But like most public places in uk its eyes down avoiding dog mess! What is it with this country?

This place has long been a family favourite of ours. With the new Visitors Centre up and running, what better place to while away a few hours or even a whole day.

History buffs will love this. Views are amazing. Then you add the visitor centre with all the information spanning thousands of years of human occupation and geological history. Cafe is worth a visit as well. After following trail.

Superb views out to sea and over Christchurch harbour. The walk takes a good hour. Can take a break at the restaurant on Mudeford Spit. The new visitor centre is worth a visit.

Great new museum to explain the history and natural diversity of the special site that has been occupied since the stone age.

Nice walks and sea views. Small land train goes up and down. Apparently, the local council is trying to stop it from running. Sign the petition to keep it running if you visit. It's a fair walk both walks. Nice cafe.
