Stunning

The peninsular is simply stunning with an almost designer beach; glorious views across the bay's and towards Christchurch etc; a great nature reserve.

You really need to go on the train when you get there and visit the end of the 'head' and get a ferry over to Mudeford Quay. Go crabbing there. Super day out for kids.

Fabulous views across the picturesque dorset coast and definitely worth a trip for anyone who likes a walk, has a dog or children! Can go down on the beach or follow pathways which will take you on a round trip, it's a long walk to the beach huts on the peninsular from the carpark but worth it if it's warm... More

It is a favourite with views back over Bournemouth Bay to Old Harry, ahead towards the Needles, and left Christchurch with Stour and Avon estuaries.

A lovely spot for a walk - or if you a beach lover it's a lot quieter than the beaches of Boscombe or Bournemouth just along the coast. Always plenty to see in the Solent or just relax - a nice place to go to get away form large crowds

Lovely area to walk and enjoy the area and a welcome cuppa at the Hiker Cafe. A fabulous view across the sea to the Isle of Wight and across the other way a view of Christchurch Priory. Nothing to dislike here.

Great for walking , mostly flat so easy for push chairs and very child friendly . It is very popular for dog walkers . Nice Café for... More
