A lovely place for a walk, good exercise striding up to the head or along the beach towards Mudeford spit, lovely cup of coffee at the cafe and a meander through the beautiful well appointed beach huts before wandering back alongside Christchurch harbour.

You can see about 20 miles of coastline on a good day. Great for walking and if you have time, the short boat trip to Mudeford Quay is worth a visit too.

What a lovely place. Park in the car park, pay for the day, have a cuppa and use the rest rooms then off up the hill, past the "shop" (unless you want to carry any purchase all the way around - not recommended) through the woods to the spit, climb the hill then take in the breathtaking view, from ocean,... My husband brought me here for a walk and it was amazing. the views are gorgeous and its very quiet and peaceful. Maybe because we were here around Oct and not so may summer folks but either way I think it would be a nice summer walk and visit as well! Loved!
