Great place to have a walk

Great place for a long walk with your dog. You can find really nice shaped pebbles and shells. You have nice views to Christchurch from the top.

Great sea views and wildlife. Walking down to see the beach huts on the front is great you can catch the ferry to mudeford quay to see the lobsters being bought in

Nice short walk up to the top and you are rewarded with a lovely view of the bay and Priory. Then there's the beach café on Mudeford spit for a coffee and a ride on the land train home! Happy days!

I like the view from the top. I like the walk around the bottom . I like the Hungry Hiker cafe a lot . I like the Noddy train out on the Mudeford spit and back. I don't like the expensive car park.

Every time we visit relatives in Bournemouth we visit Hengistbury Head. We always enjoy a lovely walk come rain or shine and we are never alone, with so many people enjoying time walking on the upper or lower walking paths. There are beautiful panoramic views out to sea and inland, beaches and lovely beach huts and plenty of parking. Hengistbury... More

A well signposted path takes you up the cliff where the views of Christchurch harbour and out to sea are lovely. The path leads to steps which take you down to the sandy beach lined with pretty beach huts (and a public loo). You can catch a foot ferry across to Mudeford quay and there is a level path if... When I visit my cousin Jeremy in Christchurch, my regular morning run takes me to Hengistbury Head. It is always a total delight with the most magnificent views over the harbour as well as the Isle of Wight and along the coast to Bournemouth. As I descend from the top down the stairs to the area where the beach huts... More

What a beautiful place with lovely beach and miles of easy walks. Cafe serves good food! Great for dogs too! Wonderful views but can be a bit windy so take a coat.

Very good walking area. We walked from Bournmouth and back and it took about 3.30 hours. Waling along the seafront all the time. Plenty of free toilets along the way.
