Beautifully kept gardens, lovely village with little gift shops and tea rooms. The old church is also worth a visit. Nice to just sit on one of the many park benches and take in the beauty and tranquility of the place. Glad we came to visit.

loved the manor house although acces limited, and the new buildings out back for the crafts are a bit of a sore thumb, they really do not fit into the character, and spoil it somewhat overall. Best cafe is the rose cottage before you get into the manor house grounds, nice piano playing and gardens :)

Lovely place to visit, very quaint. Well worth a visit. Word of advice, lots of dog walkers - be careful of the dog mess.

Lovely experience, we went on the pony and carriage through the village which was a lovely way to historic village and also the driver gave you a lot of information about the history of the village. It was a very enjoyable visit and the cream tea in the gardens at Rose Cottage serenaded by the pianist was very a end... More

Cockington village really is a step back in time and the people who live and work there are amazingly friendly. I had the pleasure of taking my mother-in law there for the first time and the look of sheer joy on her face as she saw all the little cottages etc,was priceless. She has limited mobility but she was determined... More
