Such a surprise as we didn't know a zoo was here. We combined it with the dinosaur place and the big wheel, ending with a drink in cocking ton. This zoo has wonderful enclosures of birds, really up close and engaging. The kids loved the seals, stingray and the 'shark' at the end.

What a surprise this was, looking from the outside it looks very small, and on previous visits to the area we have never bothered to go there. This time we had a deal when we went to Paignton Zoo for the day with a cut price ticket for both attractions. There are lots of things to see here, I loved... More

Very informative little place, and plenty of animals to see and interact with, caught a few of their talks, tells you all about the animals and how they care for them. Even got to see the penguin feeding! An added bonus is they have a few rare species in there. Very lovely visit for those with kids or without!

I'm afraid that the truth of the matter is that the whole experience at Living Coasts was a rather sad if somewhat quick experience. We had a ticket as an upgrade to our visit to Paignton view, if we had paid full price for our family of four then it really would have been a very over priced hour. From... More

This is a lovely outside zoo for sealife overlooking the sea almost in the centre of Torquay. Watch the feeding of penguins, the seals being silly and numerous other varieties of sealife then go and have a coffee and snack and visit the shop. There is a lot to keep the little ones amused. You will all have a wonderful... More

It's been a couple of years since we have been, but having visited a couple of the 'branded' sea life attractions since, it did show up how good this place is. OK, for starters, yes it is a little on the pricier side of these sort of places, but it is also what you make it to be. It has... More

We had loads of fun here - fantastic talks on the penguins and seals. We weren't expecting to get so close to them all. We had great weather and were able to wander about - I suspect it wouldn't be as good in the rain. Well worth a visit.

Although smaller than I envisaged, it was a great place to visit and very interesting and the feeding of the penguins was great to watch.

I've recently been to the Living Coasts in Torquay. Unfortunately the weather wasn't very good but the staff allowed us to borrow an umbrella which was nice. When we got outside, penguin feeding time was starting. We learnt a lot but annoyingly we weren't allowed to move on until the feeding time had finished so we were getting quite cold!... More

A wet grey day in Torquay saw us heading for the Aquarium in the hopes of an indoor activity, when I enquired how much was indoors about 50% was the answer and I would say that was fair. We did enjoy the penguins "Free range" as my mum put it was lovely just shame 'bout the weather we were "enjoying"... More
