Husbands birthday treat before returning to Sheffield. Picked up a discount voucher from tourist information. Greeted by nice friendly lady. We had two small suitcases which we were able to leave in secure lock up while we explored. A discount price because of the missing otters would have been nice. We watched sea birds diving and swimming underwater. Sat next... More

Thought it expensive for what is there. Penguins are ok and our disabled daughter liked the bug talk. Only one information point was working. Staff helpful and friendly. You need to time visit for the talks you want to hear as there are limited things to see although sand and drawing activities to occupy younger children

Thank you for your review. I am sorry you felt the attraction was expensive. We are priced in line with other similar sized local attractions and our average length of stay is 1.5 - 2 hours. We also offer Zooper tickets enabling a visit to Paignton Zoo and Living Coasts which offer significant savings and as of Saturday 25th May... More

Inside I was shocked by how the penguins just walked around you freely was amazing how close they were and sweet my children loved it. Was little disappointed as I thought it was going to be an aquarium but was more of a bird sanctuary wasn't many fish at all but there were seals and they were lovely too. Had... More

Love it here.compact, but very well thought out. The staff are extremely approachable and love to inform. Get right up close to the penguins and seals. Large section indoors so great for all weathers. Not cheap but if you are interested in the sea would be worth it. Nice cafe, but again, not cheap. Lovely gift shop

If you like penguins - don't miss this place. It looks a little sad outside, and is a bit tucked away, but the penguin feeding time is not to be missed. They waddle across he path right in front of you - no barrier - so it feels like you're in here with them ( you're actually behind a line!).... More

We have visited several times but this time was excellent all due to the man "Shaun" who was the guide in the penguin enclosure, he was friendly, informed, and my boys really liked him. As you go in the entrance you are greeted by what has to be the most unfriendly women - she never speaks more than a few... More

The penguins were ok but did not think there was good use of space, not many animals to see, thought the aquarium would have had more fish etc would not go again

Thank you for your recent review. As well as the two species of penguin we have over 50 species on site including over 20 types of fish and crustacea. Many of the animals can be seen both above and below the water and we have regular feeding talks throughout the day to enhance our visitors experience. We receive regular positive... More

From the outside this did not seem to be much of an attraction. I was most surprised to find that it just opened out to more and more of interest.
