We went three times in a week as if you pay once they let you back in free for 7 days! We went back and every time the animals were doing something different! Well worth a couple of visits if you can! The staff were wonderful, a lovely blonde woman on the 'penguin patrol' was superb and made the experience... More

It was amazing how close you get to the animals, I have been to many zoos in many cities and none let you get as close to the animals as you could at Living Coast (Whilst still being at a safe distance of course!) The penguin crossing in particular! TIP: Try to time yourself to be there for penguin feeding... More

This was'nt what we expected we bought this in addition to the Paignton zoo ticket as you got both places to visit cheaper. It does'nt take long to get round it took us roughly about an hour. Some animals don't look like they have enough space. The penguins are good but this part does get busy especially at feeding time.... More

We came here Easter weekend as it overhangs the Torquay bay and was recommended by the boat tour we went on. It was not too busy considering the time of the year and I was a little taken back by the price. The idea is a great one with the open air and netting allowing the birds to fly free... More

It is a lovely sea life centre with some fascinating animals to see, it doesn't take you long to walk around the whole venue so please don't expect a days worth of enjoyment - more like 1-2 hours tops. We had a coupon that made it cheaper to visit, if we had paid the full price we would have been... More

Personally I did not think this was worth the entrance fee and there was little entertainment value for kids.

Thank you for your recent review. I am sorry you felt the entrance fee was too high. Our prices are set competitively with other similar sized local attractions and our free 7 day return offer allowing visitors the opportunity to return unlimited times for seven days increases value for money and has proved extremely popular. With regards to children's activities... More

I paid my second visit to Living Coast while on holiday in Torquay. There aren't too many animals to see and I got round in a hour. There has not been many people there on the two occasions I have been and I think if the price of the entrance fee was reduced then it would attract more visitors.

Such a surprise as we didn't know a zoo was here. We combined it with the dinosaur place and the big wheel, ending with a drink in cocking ton. This zoo has wonderful enclosures of birds, really up close and engaging. The kids loved the seals, stingray and the 'shark' at the end.

What a surprise this was, looking from the outside it looks very small, and on previous visits to the area we have never bothered to go there. This time we had a deal when we went to Paignton Zoo for the day with a cut price ticket for both attractions. There are lots of things to see here, I loved... More

Very informative little place, and plenty of animals to see and interact with, caught a few of their talks, tells you all about the animals and how they care for them. Even got to see the penguin feeding! An added bonus is they have a few rare species in there. Very lovely visit for those with kids or without!
