Real care has been taken in the construction of this attraction to give some experiences with the animals that you would not find in a traditional zoo. You are greeted with an underwater persecutive on the diving Puffins and Cormorants then lead into an outdoor area where the birds are free to fly around you. You get a really up-close... More

Living coast was a lovely day out, very small attraction and if you wanted to spend the day then this isnt the place. Also make sure you get there at feeding times else the animals are hard to see.

Such a lovely little attraction. We have a zoo card for the year so always pop over here for a cheer up. It's so cute with the funny little penguins and seals. Especially on a nice day to just walk about and enjoy the wildlife chilling out.

This is a lovely place in a beautiful location. It is nice to get up and close to the penguins. Make sure you get there at feeding times. The otters are beautiful of course, and the seals are lovely. The birds fly freely around and it is quite easy to get good photographs as they settle around you. I think... More

I didn't realises how big the place was, it looks small when you walk to it. It was well laid out and very interesting. There was plenty to see and things for children to do. We listened to the talk about the penguins and watched them feeding but the penguins kept spitting the fish out as they are probably too... More

Very good place to visit, well organised and very informative. We have been on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed. It is a place for the unhurried and interested. It is not flashy or "blingy" it does a job and informs the public well about conservation.

We went there allowing a couple of hours to visit but in the end spent nearly four hours there. The exhibits are great, and spent a long time just sitting and watching, which in the end is the best way to enjoy a place like this. We had our sandwiches watching the estuary exhibit, what a lovely place to sit... More

Very well set out, with lots of interesting animals, including penguins, puffins, seals and some gorgeous otters. Some great talks/feeds too. Well worth a visit, and, if you are staying there a few days, you can upgrade your ticket before you leave and it allows you to return for free whenever you like in a week!
