it's been improved, but there's still a lot of rubbish in the water by the slipway. apart from that, it's lovely with loads of shops and cafes, boat trips, great views etc. and an excellent tourist information centre...go there to see what vouchers you can get to save money on buses, boats, food, attractions etc. very good!

Lovely inner harbour, always full with a variety of craft. Plenty of pubs, restaurants and take aways nearby.

The Harbour in Torquay is a place we spent quite a bit of time, the Harbour is surrounded with restaurants Pubs, Bars, and loads of shops of every description, also off the Harbour you have some of the main shopping streets, I can't impress what a great area this is, we had lunch here almost every day, if you go... Even in Winter it was pleasant to walk around and take in the sights across the harbour and on the other side the Zig Zag path up the cliff face.

with cafes, bars and take away close by, you can quite easily spend half a day here. with a 2 minute walk to access public transport, or the town. it is in an ideal setting.

A blustery, showery day but the boat ride was comfortable and warm. The day we went, the windy weather prevented us going to Dartmouth as the seas off the headland were rough, but the competence and friendllness of the crew on our crossing to Brixham made a very enjoyable day out. A walk around the harbours of both Torquay and... More

This area is great for an after dinner walk as there is always something different to see and in the evening the whole area is beautifully illuminated. For those with a head for heights you must go on the big wheel. There are great views out to sea and across the town and I think you get good value for... More
