We always visit this pub on our annual trip to Torquay, this time there was a group of around 25 of us, we are always made to feel very welcome staff are always smiling and very polite, we had a great weekend the live music was excellent, we shall be returning next year

This is a lovely old-wordly style pub just off the main high street. The staff are very friendly and the pub is always warm and feels very welcoming. the cider press is a real pub just off the high st,nice wooden tables ,chairs and floors,a good selection of beers and spirits also wines,they do food but i did not eat,the place has a buzz about it clean and friendly staff,

had lunch in the camlot bar which is part of the cider press, the food was brill, and the service was brill the barman/ waiter was a really nice guy i wish i had caught his name

Really good old school pub. Staff friendly and good choice of Cider and Ales. Not far from the clubs and town centre well worth a walk up

been going to Torquay for the past 2 years twice a year, with my friends. We always go in the cider press have a game of cards by the coal fire when its cold, or when its nice and sunny sit by the open windows, the staff are friendly and the food is great. I am going back next Wednesday... More

Had a nice drink in the Cider Press - Thatcher's Gold was lovely. Small pub, but friendly, and welcomes dogs.

I read on a website somewhere that they allowed dogs inside and stumbled upon it by chance. We went in and were greeted by a very friendly bar lady who, without asking, brought water for our thirsty dog and gave him a fuss. She was very friendly and the service was good.
