Great character pub.

Look out for the knight in a suit of armour outside. We had not visited this pub before and were so pleased we did. The staff were really helpful with the code for the wifi as we... read more

Look out for the knight in a suit of armour outside. We had not visited this pub before and were so pleased we did. The staff were really helpful with the code for the wifi as we wanted to take selfies. The football and rugby were on with one of the best atmospheres we have been in. The staff could... More

We came here in July 2015. We absolutely loved it in this bar. The live music was some of the best we have seen. Brilliant atmosphere. Would return to Torquay just for this.

We called in there for a pint, not a good pint of cider at all, the bar and the toilets( ladies) didn't smell very clean, quite an odour in fact. Won't rush back, not the most friendliest of places

Having arrived on a Saturday evening about 7, loud music and 'merry fellas' dancing across the room greeted us , went to get cask marque code and stared at making me feel uncomfortable, we didn't stay as hubby did not feel comfortable either, noise isn't a problem just intimidation, feels like a locals pub

This pub has been a good traditional fun pub over the years we have been coming to, since 1992. From owner to owner it's had a fabulous atmosphere. Went here for a drink one afternoon when nearby. Was a nice place for a drink. Recommend the rattlers on draft.
