Many small businesses with lots of 'different' bits an pieces in one venue. On the more expensive side - but I always find something to treat myself or others with. I am not a natural shopper though. Today a couple of funny birthday cards and an ice cream. Fashion, jewellery, Dartington Glass, kitchenware, toys, smellies, Foody treats and a couple... More

We stumbled on The Cider Press, whilst looking for decent shopping in Torquay and needing a light refreshment made our way to a busy bar, to be greeted with a warm good afternoon by the gentleman behind the bar, enquiring about the range of ciders available we were given an in depth review on all brands, there locality, there strength... Had a nice drink in the Cider Press - Thatcher's Gold was lovely. Small pub, but friendly, and welcomes dogs.

I read on a website somewhere that they allowed dogs inside and stumbled upon it by chance. We went in and were greeted by a very friendly bar lady who, without asking, brought water for our thirsty dog and gave him a fuss. She was very friendly and the service was good. She even remembered what we were drinking when... More

Interesting and varied franchises. Some nice collection pieces and a fab kitchen shop. Good for plants and food. Median stuff a tad expensive.

Visited here recently - was very busy, good friendly atmosphere, and as you'd expect a good choice of ciders. The prices were OK, about average, and service was quick despite the plae being so busy. Would happily return. Didn't see any food being served.
