Great day trip out on the Fairmile to Dartmouth (silver ticket) including a cruise up the river Dart. What really made this trip was the crew, let's face it when you're on holiday you like a good laugh and it was brilliant, so well done! Book this trip and you won't be disappointed.

Went on trip with boyfriend. Ferry was over 45 mins late so the sliver cruise we paid for was cut short so was our time on there. Crew made up for bad start very nice guys and very helpful.

Visited Torquay for the first time in over 20 years and discovered that we could get a ferry from Torquay Harbour over to Brixham for just £2 return. As I write this review sometime later, I still cannot believe what fantastic value this trip was. The journey takes approximately 35 minutes and is so convenient rather than trying to use... More

Took the ferry to brixham to call it a ferry is so wrong. The WW2 boat is a rare treat. The crews commentary was brill. The sea was calm and the sun was shining. Well worth the £2 return.

This was the best £7.50 we spent in the 4 days we spent in Torquay, the crew were funny and the commentary around the coast was really interesting and upbeat. It was nice to hear the Heritage of the boat and great that it is still being used today. The highlight of the trip was the appearence of dolphins on... More

This trip is well worth the money. Interesting commentary and banter during the hour and a half trip - picking up and dropping passengers off in Brixham on the way. The only suggestion would be on the return trip - due to no repeat commentary - which obviously is the way to do it - background 40's music would make... More

I would recommend to anyone that is spending time in and around Torbay to spend a day with Greenways aboard The Fairmile and see the Devon coastline from the sea. Leaving Torquay at 11am for £12.50 each (adult) we got to spend an hour and a half in the beautiful town of Dartmouth before heading over to Slapton Sands to... More

This is our second trip on the Fairmile and once again it was very enjoyable and informative. We booked the Gold Cruise which went via Brixham and on to Dartmouth where we could get off for an hour - just enough time for me to get a supply of fudge from Edwards fudge shop! We then went back on the... More

My husband went on this and was impressed by the restoration of the ship. Although already quite knowledgeable about the tragic events he came home with even more info. Although there is a serious side of this cruise there was also a more lighthearted element with the cheeky commentary on other sections of the cruise. Overall a good balance.

Positives: Trip was fine Negatives: The ticket seller on the promenade said to my father (who was in a wheelchair and has limited mobility) 'You'll be ok with a few steps wont you fella?' We assumed he meant the steps on the pier (which he could manage) and not the steps down from the quay to the boat which he... More
