I came here for a match between Torquay United and the Forest Green Rovers. The end result was a 3-3 draw after United squandered a 3-1 lead. I paid £21 for my seat, which I found reasonable. All areas, including the standing room are sheltered, unless there's a wind, the you may get soaked. It did pour with rain during... More

I was really excited to visit plainmoor on my first visit to Torquay after being a supporter for long time I was devastated that the club shop was not opened so I could purchase a Torquay & to my overall disappointment not one sport shop in the whole of Torquay & surrounding areas sell Torquay jerseys (what happened to being... As a Torquay fan, it would be impossible to give Plainmoor a bad rating, but, you know, it's only a small ground, poorly supported and at the end of the day has no illusions. What does anyone expect from here? If you come here to watch your team, then your own club is probably in, or getting near, the same... More

Torquey v Pompey 26th October 2013. No beer in the ground so went to "boot and laces" beer was expenses and service was slow. Burgers in the ground were horrible and not cheap. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Being on holiday and missing a home game on my season ticket at Nottingham Forest I deceided to cheer myself up and visit Plainmoor to watch Torquay V Mansfield. This is a nice little ground for a nice little club which deserves more support from the locals to keep it going. The toilet facilities are clean although a little sparce.... More

I live in Paignton which is neighboring towns with Torquay. I support Plymouth Argyle FC and thankfully I have only got to visit this terrible stadium, in fact it isn't a stadium it is a ground with stands, and is horrendous. The food is terrible, half the ground is standing, the toilets are portaloo's and the team, Torquay united are... More

Over the past few years plainmoor has grown into i think one of the best lower league grounds in the country, the new bristows bench finishes off the ground and there is not a better viewing stand in the country... im a pop side fan and love to stand to take in all the atmosphere of the game and the... Torquay United vs Bradford City 01/04/13. Away fan facilities consisted of standing area behind goal, very clean toilet building behind stand, and a food/ beverage van. Small ground, general lack of atmosphere. Stewards were good humoured and engaged in friendly banter (re: Torquay keeper Rice's bright orange shorts) with a smile. Plenty of parking nearby. Nil response to our e-mail... More

We visited Torquay's football ground before & after the new stand was built. Facilities are poor, prices are high. If they get relegated I fear for their survival.

What is a lovely fourth division football ground has been spoilt and overrun in my opinion during a recent visit with over enthusiastic stewards. Myself and my daughter visited and posed little threat however the stewards were hostile and rude. No smoking in the ground..fair enough but at least consider opening the away end gate to let the smokers out... More
