Torbay council must give themselves credit as the gardens always look lovely. There's no rubbish to be seen but beware of the overseas students who take over in the evening!!!

Beautiful gardens well kept and far enough from the main promenade to feel peaceful yet in the heart of Torquay.

These lovely gardens with a large and attractive water feature are enjoyable to wander around. But enjoy it while you can as our very unpopular Mayor is determined to let a commercial venture, involving the pavilion, dig it up and make it a private car park as part of a very questionable development.

I loved the peacefulness and how great this area is. The Wheel has been set up. I love to sit there and people watch, so relaxing especially on a lovely day. Visted last year in the summer it was great. came again this year, which was a little cooler lol, but still great. I heard about a plan from the... More

We wandered through the park on a sunny afternoon and it was very nice. The flower beds look amazing and colourful and the harbour is not far away so it was very nice to have a gentle walk through although it's not a huge park by any means so you can walk through it in 5-10 minutes or find somewhere... Nice little gardens, benches and fountain with a bust commemorating the famed author. Right near the harbour and shops.

Great weather. Made spending time in the gardens a pleasant diversion watching them put together the Ferris wheel ready for the Easter weekend wish we were going to be there still

The gardens have recently been updated and look lovely, with a wonderful café, loos, benches, mini-golf, duck pond and tennis and bowling courts. Further along is a large area where you can sunbathe or picnic or just let the kids run around. It's just across from the beach, so nice sea views too.
