The gardens are frozen in time, a wonderful place to just sit think and to watch the world go by. When the sun shines its a little bit of Eden! You can smell the sea and the flowers. The wife and I always spend an hour or two just sitting and do not consider it a waste of time.

One of those unique places where you think time has stopped. Beautiful, natural and quiet. a beautiful Georgian leftover gracing the modern world and putting it to shame.

Cary Gardens is a beautiful, well laid out garden with lovely views across Tor Bay. The centre piece is the fine ornamental fountain, and in the summer months has the big wheel. This will keep the children entertained for hours, lovely park. It is quite easy to park. There is a separate park for dogs which is very good.

This is a lovely garden and the flowers were lovely and well gardened. I really loved this place and it should be kept as it is like a little of eden in the hustle and bustle of Torquay and all it has to offer. It has history and it has class and we need this. We must preserve the beauty.... More

Small quiet spot with fountains, grass, benches etc. Shops and cafes to the side. Under threat from commerce to become a car park for a new hotel.

This is a small garden area which is close to the the harbour and town centre,at this time of year the gardens are very colourful and well maintained. There is plenty of seating in the area where you can watch the day go by.
