These gardens are fantastic. Their location is great being beside the sea and they are very well kept. Some lovely plants on display.

The parks dept. does a good job keeping these gardens colourful throughout the year. There are seats where you can watch the sea and also, people walking by on the promenade. Being at sea level they are in the middle of the sheltered bay and can be a warm and sunny spot on a windy day.

These sea front gardens are so well maintained. On a dry day it's a perfect place to just sit and relax and look across the sea. Summertime there are lots of beautiful flowerbeds, but even in winter, if it's not too cold, it's still a lovely place to walk

The gardens at the moment are awaiting planting so not very pretty. The wheel has vanished and the area has been planted over. Some of the shelters are fenced in, not sure if this is to stop overnight sleeping or what, but does make it difficult to find somewhere to shelter and eat your lunch. Water fountains are pretty though... More

Very pretty walks with plenty of resting places if needed. You are basically walking alongside the sea but through gardens. Children will enjoy watching the ducks.

Torquay retains some of it past Victorian splendor, and this can be seen in the gardens, and landscaping. On a pleasant day it is wonderful to walk about, and the harbor area, and local gardens are a must. There are local restaurants, cafes etc...a walk over to Pier point is a must, and this will bring one to the beach..also... More

Nice place to relax or enjoy a short walk, with good bars and great places to eat both night a day. So you can enjoy your meal or drink with wonderful sea views.
