What a lovely place to come to to meet up with friends. A green space where kids can run and play a wonderful fountain and memorial to agatha christie. Such a shame that the council wants to build on it!!!

Children loved running and playing on swings etc. Good idea having a snack wagon on site in summer Like all the parks in Torquay it could do with upgrading - think geo park!

Still a bit of work going on but the gardens are well worth a visit ! Quiet and peaceful when we strolled round and a welcome break after visiting the nearby shops and facilities around the marina.Still looked good in the pleasant Autumn weather and a stroll around these gardens is recommended if you want to "unwind" a little after... I loved this place would love to live here, very, very clean, well kept gardens, lots to see and do. Was very impressed with the police and the way they handled criminals! Reasonable prices not over priced like many tourist hot spots. Would recommend a visit.

In the excellent commentary that went with our trip on the Big Wheel it mentioned the various improvements Torbay is now making to its attractions and gardens, which are so important for it to keep its place as the leading Holiday Resort in the South West. Certainly the Promenade area is already much improved and the Mayor has been pro-active... More

We took a ride on the big wheel fantastic views accross Torquay. Wonderful on a clear day and I am sure just as good when it is dark. The price of £5 per adult was very good, you could even hire out a whole cabin. There was a commentry as you went round describing all you see and some interesting... More

We arrived in sunshine and the gardens were a picture. They were obviously so well tended and had been benefiting from the rain, which fortunately stayed away for our visit!

Always cleaned every day and litter picked. Foreign language students did leave a terrible mess of litter every night, but full marks to the maintenance team as every morning they were cleaned by 9am. Always picturesque with the flower beds
