Very interesting and informative, worth a visit, the trenches were very poignant. Had fun playing the old arcade games.

Bygones is a great place to see so many of the items that us older ones remember from our childhood and that our parents had told us about. Absolute amazed at the variety and amount of items that are on show. Presentation was great and would appeal to young and old alike. Downside only one toilet on 3 floors. Very... More

There is just so much stuff to see, it would be helpful to have more information about what some of the things are and why some of them are so important. How did they get some of the items? The smells add to the experience and will help enhance the understanding of bygone days. Some people might say this is... More

You start of in a cramped street where you can look at creepy mannequins and cramped displays of old things. You then go upstairs and see less cramped displays and smell horrible smells (soap maybe?). Then on the third floor there's some old game machines, a cafe and a ww1 trench. This is the best part. Then some more displays... More

My 75-year old parents remembered a lot of the items on display, especially in the upstairs, 20th Century part. But my 5 and 7-year old girls also had a lot of fun and learned a lot too. This is a fun and educational way to pass the time in Babbacombe. My American wife found a lot of it very amusing... More

We visited Bygones as a family of 4 with our daughters 11 and 6 years old paying a family ticket price of £25.00. I feel robbed. The displays are thrown together with little thought, no attention to detail and no information - it's a hotchpotch. The nicest area has to have been the bloody toilet as it was the only... More

Didn't think it was worth the drive and money it cost to get in. Even my son didn't really enjoy it and he usually loves anything about history. Wouldn't go back again.

This has to be one of the most interesting places I have ever visited ! There is so much to see, even though we have visited once before, there are things you forget. The family that run it are very welcoming and friendly, and its nice to see that this is a family run business, that donates so much to... More

A gold mine in St Marychurch. Well worth the entrance fee. Takes you back in time to see the things from the past. The café is a must if only for a break to go round again and see all the things you missed first time. Excellent

I have no problem with an attraction having an entrance charge; in this case there was no mention of a charge on either promotional leaflets or the board outside. It was only when inside that it became apparent that, surprise surprise, there was a charge. Now, I have no problem with an attraction making a charge, but this was a... More
