My husband & myself were staying in Torquay for 5 days last week & after enquiring about where to go, one name kept cropping up....BYGONES. We decided to pay them a visit and were not dissapointed, The outside of the building was very interesting with its unusual shape & decor, on entering was a gift shop what had a magnitude... More

I can not recommend this place highly enough. We went for breakfast with Santa. The lady in the cafe went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Santa was brilliant and the gifts were of good value. The museum is excellent. We went with our 7 children aged 16 - 1 and everyone enjoyed it. So many things... More

This place is not for children at all! The exhibit with the Victorian dentist that terrified our daughter for weeks. I would recommend that this is for the elderly who want to 're-live the old days', otherwise it was just plain awful and a waste of money.

Rather grubby, crammed, disorganised, glad I've been but won't go again, and don't think I'd recommend. Thought it expensive. It was a very quiet day, but cafe totally ignored us. I did like the model railways, but I like those anywhere.

We looked in google what are the attractions in Torquay as we booked for 1 week in a hotel. We found bygones and decided to go there and we find it quite interesting. Kids will surely love some of the stuff they're showing there.

We absolutely loved our visit, (with our 4 year old granddaughter) .good value. Lots to see, all really well presented .she liked the mirror of distortion, the Steam Train and model railways. We liked it all. The staff were friendly , we enjoyed lunch in the Cafe . Would highly recommend.
