this place has sooooooooo many things to look at!!!!!!!!!! Everywhere you look you see something else. Make sure you have plenty of charge in your camera! The only problem I could see that when it gets busy it's a bit of a squeeze. We were looking at things and saying I used to have one of them, I remember them.... More

Fantastic place for kids, parents, & grandparents alike. I find something new each time. Nice cafe for lunch or tea if you want a quick bite.

Our Grandchildren and I had a wonderful time at Bygones. A great place to visit and the little cafe was so friendly. Lovely.

A fascinating place with some truly amazing displays, including a Victorian (I think!) street.There's also a steam train in there, if I remember rightly.It can be quite a squeeze when it is busy and I began to feel a bit claustrophobic. There is 3Floors of items from diffrent time periods.The Victorian street with its shops and figures complete background sound is just like being there.See the real size railway engine and how they installed it.There is also the station cafe and a gift shop.

surprised that knew so many of the things (must be my age ) and how that stuff still here to day . Floors are sometimes uneven but great place ,, specially if the weather not so good

Situated about 5 mins walk from Babbacombe model village, it's a great museum that contains all the old food containers and other nostalgic items on display from the bygone era from the Victorian times right to the present day. It also displays railway related items from the previous age, even around the canteen which is situated on the first floor.... More

Not changed a great deal since our first visit more than 20 years ago with our son, but I usually check it out when I'm back in Torquay, if only for the nostalgia. Found this totally by accident went round and was surprised by the amount of victorian stuff on display played the old one penny games from that era bagatelles and seen the early version of table football and ice hockey amazing how they still work. Definstely visit this if you like victorian and world war one dtuff amazing place .
