loved the place. one mans passion taken to extremes. although I loved it I think it has outgrown it's premises. as you are jostled when it is busy. and the exhibits are all crammed. and yet the layout is superb.

I decided to take my elderly mother to Bygones and as soon as she was shown into this magical Victorian village, her eyes lit up like a small child in a sweet shop. There was so much to see and it was amazing to watch my mum's delight. There were also things from her passed such as old packets and... More

I visited Bygones yesterday with my Daughter and Grandaughters and we all had a great time. There's lots there to interest both the young and old, my Grandaughters 6 & 8 loved it. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and I'd recommend Bygones as a great place to visit. Don't be put off by the small frontage, it's like... More

Very interesting and staff were very helpful and friendly and the cafe is great value but I felt the experience was overpriced and should be around £6 per person and children around £3 ???? .

We visited in the summer with my mother in law and had a fabulous time. All the displays are so well done and very informative. The cafe being half way round is a great idea! We were ready for a break and refreshments, all were lovely and the lady serving us so friendly. My daughter loved the old arcade, we... More

Spent an hour and a half looking round Bygones with my elderly parents on a rainy morning. Lots of things to look at and reminders of our childhood - not so sure that younger children will be quite so interested in the content of some of the shop recreations (but the children we saw there seemed quite taken with the... This is a family run attraction and a lot of hard work and dedication has gone into it. Good café and shop, fantastic old world displays and lots to see. Good price. Definitely worth a visit.

We were fascinated and memories were rekindled as we toured this amazing collection of memorabilia from the past years going right back to Victorian times. Would recommend a visit by families when in the area, guaranteed to stimulate discussion by your children

This place is amazing if you want to see how the other half lived years ago. It show you different decade shops, works, houses all different locations and is great for children and adults. Has a lovely cafe if you want a drink or some lunch.
