Transported back in time to the Victorian era, this place is a must to visit ! There is a Victorian street scene, a 27 ton part of a train and 100's of old pacakaging, military items and old toys. The list is endless! There is the Station Tea Room for refreshments and on the ground floor, lots of old fashioned... More

Good presentations on three floors. Each exhibit was well presented and displayed in an attractive and instructive manner. Quite a lot of steps for people with mobility problems

This exhibition of life in late Victorian times is located in Babbacombe, close to the model village. Take them both in on the same visit. Bygones took us about 90 mins. They have created a Victorian street over 3 levels, with its shops, but also with its sounds and smells. The staff are friendly and helpful but also were able... More

What an amazing step back into history in Merry Olde England! The museum looks quite small fron the outside but once inside it goes on for ever. Something for everyone of all ages. An amazing train layout as well for all of the men who are not interested in the shops! Don't worry nothing to purchase whilst touring the museum... More

Bygones is a fasinating museum, from the old cobbled road, Queen Victoria statue and old shops. Nice tea shop too. There is a section with the sights & sounds of the war.Well worth going to if you're in Babbacombe, Torquay.

This is only a small venue but it has a lot packed into it. All the artefacts are original, no reproductions. The man at the counter was very friendly and informative. We didn't use the café so can't comment on that, but for a wet afternoon in Torquay it is highly recommended. Well worth a visit.

We went here on a rainy day to keep dry and so glad we did, they give children a task to find the coins in different locations and to write down which place they saw them, at the end they get some sweets for completing it. It keeps them amused on the way round, we all enjoyed the old fashioned... More

Interesting museum, lots of different things in there. Amazing that we could take the dog in, even to the cafe. The old arcade machines are the best part. Really worth going,
