We absolutely loved our visit, (with our 4 year old granddaughter) .good value. Lots to see, all really well presented .she liked the mirror of distortion, the Steam Train and model railways. We liked it all. The staff were friendly , we enjoyed lunch in the Cafe . Would highly recommend.

We were amazed at how much there was to see at Bygones as it does not seem very big from outside but there is a full size engine from a steam train just inside the entrance and it was fascinating to stand on the footplate and get an idea of what it would have been like to drive.I was intrigued... Very good attraction for all ages and its all indoors which is great if its bad weather. But once you've been once there's nothing really to go back for. Not the cheapest place to visit either and in fact it's quite pricey.

This is amazing looks so small outside but it's huge loads of interesting things to see and a lovely little cafe inside too. Well worth the money

Bygones is a fascinating collection by one family which will appeal to the whole family. It is totally enclosed, so is ideal for a wet-weather visit, although it can be explored at any time. A highlight is the re-creation of a Victorian street.

Well worth a visit, took my husband here as I had previously visited and he was as impressed as I was. Family run business with a passion for memorabilia. There is a car park very close by so not too far to walk. Kids may find this a little dull but adults will love it

This is the second time we have been here & we keep seeing things we didn't see before. so much memorabilla from childhood. Street scene from victorian times, rooms set up to see how we lived. World war 1 trench to walk through. I had a tear in my eye when I saw the wreaths around the cross. The Anderson... More

There is so much here. We spent probably about 3 hours here. Not only is there a very wide range of exhibits they are arranged in such a sympathetic way. The items seem much cleaner and better presented than in many other collections. They seem to be alive. The care and pride taken by the owners is evident. Very highly... More
