Lots of exhibits but I felt they were too crowded .Needed a much larger space to spread them out so you could view the items properly.

It is amazing how much has been crammed into such a small space. Everywhere you look there is something new to see. The view of, an apparent, full size steam engine is unbelievable.

Visited many times. Visiting friends never been so on a very rainy day could think of nowhere better. Special price for carers was a bonus. Such wonderful memories brought back to life. Amazing layout and special attention to detail. A must for everyone.

Me and my friends went here back in June. It was a very quiet Sunday. I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. We are all aged 18-25 but loved it anyway. Would probably come back again next time I visit. Very friendly lady in the tea room and loved the arcade type area!

We are local to the area but had never been. It was a rainy weekend and thought it would be worth a try. We managed to park in a street for free as it is out of season, but our friend parked in the pay and display which was £2.00 for 4 hours. You enter via the gift shop and... More

Enjoyed our visit to Bygones this morning was an interesting place to visit. Would recommend to anyone who is interested in history etc. A little bit on the expensive side but it is a family business so didn't mind so much. Will visit again.

Fantastic museum! Crammed to the rafters with exhibitions covering a vast range of family interests. First floor Victorian street includes activity to spot non-authentic items in various stores which kept us entertained and engaged for some time. Interactive displays were really enjoyable, and I especially liked the focus on personal war stories.
