Best to go early especially if it's raining. Lost of interesting things and bring back lots of memories. Even younger visitors find it interesting.

You can get around here in less than an hour. Wouldn't visit again as really not worth it for the money.

This place is great and there is so much to see, from a victorian street to the 50s. It is all under cover so good if it is raining. I would advise to buy a brochure to take round with you as it tells you what to look out for.

I have been to many places like this but I must say this is the best I have ever seen. The sound effects are very realistic, the collections are very well set out. This family owned collection is fantastic and not to be missed, great value for money.

From the outside of Byegones you do not realise exactly how much is inside the "shop", it is amazing. There is even a "real" train in there!! Very enjoyable indeed.

Visited Bygones whilst on holiday at Paignton. A really interesting place the takes you back many years. I don't think anything from sweets to washing powder has been missed, what an interesting collection of memorabilia. How did they get that train in?? Didn't get time to sample the café as we spent too much time looking into every corner and... More

This was a wonderful experience. It was a bit overwhelming when we first entered because there is so much to look at but once we started to look around we found it more and more fascinating. Whatever age you might be, there is something for everyone. There are things we played with as kids and things our parents and grandparents... More
