Circle seats were good but the heat within the auditorium was too hot to handle. Add to that discomfort a boring play and you can see why we left at half time

We saw "The Mouse Trap" here at the home town of Agatha Christie and it was a 100% top play.It was acted by a first class cast.I would recommend this venue to all.

Went to the princess theatre to watch Marti pellow in evita. Took along my daughter and we might have had cheap seats but I think we had some if the best ones in the place! Theatre could do with modernising a little bit but there shows are first class. Well done!!!!

Went to see the Mousetrap and thought it was a great production. The prices are standard theatre prices so not bad at all. The surroundings are beautiful too, especially on a warm summer evening. To be honest sweet prices are just the same as other places and the programme is also similar in price, probably slightly cheaper than the bigger... More

Liked the ambience and friendliness. Great show (Beatles). Impressive scene changes and use of lighting technology. Front of house staff really friendly. Overlooking Torbay for half-time drinks. Would go again.

This building has character that's missing in so many theaters these day. It's not just the tape on the carpet outside the upstairs toilet (it was there when we visited in March and it's still there in July). But the very building oozes old fashioned charm from a bygone era. The staff are very helpful and deserve a pat on... More

We were on second to back row and could barely see the stage,Evita, however I saw someone borrow a cushion so at half time paid £5 to borrow a cushion and moved to the back row, we then had a clear view. I would say if you can't afford best seats here don't waste your money. Evita was OK, nothing... More

This is such a beautiful and amazing theatre with some AMAzing performances that come here. I think Eapage review below is absoloutley nonsense as it is stunning and you have to experience this beautiful theatre. The only thing I would agree with is that parking is horrible and expensive in the multi-story car park down the road. The staff are... More

What a voice, what a performance. it was truly brilliant. it was the opening night. the theatre felt alive. we sat in the front half... More
