This is the gem of the Torbay area best views in the South Coast delightful village with the best fish and chip shop in the UK Hanbury's eat them on the downs heaven

Not so bad. We're just driving around and found a cable lift and so we tried and we had a look what we can find in babbacombe.

Apart from the location we may have well spent New year in a prison so depressing and dirty, no change tales sheets 4 day New year stay, food was attroshous,breakfast being the most edible, COLD take plenty of layers and tea bags as if you ask for anymore in room you get charged, Nick cheesy and over chatty getting on... More

Went to Babbacombe from Torquay on a bus, it's a really lovely place, nice Beach and a lot quieter than Torquay, it also has a nice shopping centre, the real attraction is all the Flowers you can see in the summer months.

The view as you walk along the top looking over and down to the beach is tremendous. It is a pretty part of Torquay and we love walking along there. The Cliff Railway is fun too and the cafe very nice.

One of the best areas of Torquay - should not be missed. Angels tearoom has the best cream tea - warm scone, clotted cream and two 'homemade' jams. Delicious

Excellent food and customer service. Very family friendly and exceptionally good value for money. Beautiful views and wonderful out door eating area in summer.

Quaint and utterly Beautiful area. Lovely walks and Scenery. Use the Cliff Railway to go down to the Beach. Good, clean and friendly town

We went to Torque in July 2014 and decided to visit Babacombe on the first day. We heard that it has nice scenic beauty and thus after seeing Kent Cavern, we took Bus 32 for going to Babacombe which was about 20 mins journey to Babacombe on a cliff.
