This is a lovely little pebble beach that allows dogs on it which is perfect for our pooch. The water is beautifully clear, and there are rock pools when the tide is out. there is a jetty that can be fished off and there are often boats coming in to moor. Definately worth a visit.

Took the bus from Torquay (about 20 mins ) then cliff lift down to beach. Small beach with an interesting cliff lift museum. Had a nice cup of tea on beach. Quite a few shops in Babbacombe town.

Babbacombe is amazing...and the Carey Arms is the best gastropub in the whole world! It was the greatest discovery during a very enjoyable stay in Torquay

Babbacombe is very pleasant, clean and nicely old fashioned with lots of good hotels, open spaces and a long lived model village. There are two beaches, Oddiscombe and Babbacombe, both joined by a wooden walkway. Both are good for pottering around with kids, looking for crabs and getting the dog wet. It is possible to drive down to Babbacombe beach,... More

A lovely swim at Oddicombe beach in the morning, and a surprise viewing of about 4 seals at the harbour area of Babbacombe in the afternoon. Wow. .It is a beautiful and unspoiled bay. Also want to give a mention to the cafe at the top of the funicular which made good coffee and cakes and good service.

Nice place, with shops, and theatre. The cliff top is nice for walking or just sitting down. With the cliff railway nearby a visit to the beach at the bottom of the railway is good, The beach is small but nice,

Unless you want to go on the cliff railway there's not a lot here. Nice views from the top though. Quite a few hotels doing coffee with a view and very steep to get to a smallish beach.

Lovely little beach with gorgeous surroundings - great place to go rockpooling - loads of crabs and little fishes to find - our boys loved it (age 10 and 9)
