I regularly go to Torquay via train , the station needs updating ie. A lift would perfect it's a struggle to carry pushchairs up & over the bridge even though there is a road your able to walk over to get to the other platform it is still quite a trek. And not particular fair for disabled people either. Toilets... More

lovely old station but needs more staffing as often no toilets open and no food or help when you need it. pretty dirty, but good trains and pretty old station with easy walk into town.

this is a very weary place to visit. no one but undesirables about. safety is an issue here, along with disabled access and prices.

Upon buying tickets for a day trip to teignmouth being disabled and in a wheelchair the man at the ticket office he could not help me on to the train because he was by himself! How poor is that for service in 2014?

A homely feel to this 19th century station, with most of its original architecture in tact. Stunning view as you walk out the front towards the promenade with he expanse of Torbay in view between the trees. Helpful friendly staff - tho not usually manned outside 7am - 6pm, when the newly refurbished toilets are also closed. I understand major... More

Not very close to the town. But nice walk to it in good weather. If its bad weather you may need a taxi outside of the station. Toilets are never open and never any staff around 6. Needs a bit of make over looking a bit old. At the end of the day its a train station. There are benches,... More

Best bet if going to Newton Abbot or Exeter, about £7 single and is very much faster than the bus. Frequent trains, so not long to wait. Not too handy for centre of town, especially if you have luggage, so a taxi may be needed, or get a bus outside the station on the main road. Do not know what... More
