fascinating insight into Agetha's time of living here

I enjoyed the Walk, but sadly the guide book I had, was a few years old and some of the stuff it meted had closed down. But a lovely walk along the seafront.

Basically it gets you walking a mile between two hotels. They take you thoufht all the landmarks of Torquay, so for that, its good. Not a lot of information out there, so google it up first

As a big fan of Christie, I was really excited for this tour. I would have appreciated more information at times - quite a few of the points didn't have plaques and little additional information, which would have been nice. The museum was a definite highlight, with lots of artefacts and props etc, and we were also given a reduction... More

We went to Torque in July 2014 and decided to visit Agatha Christi’s House and Garden called as “Greenway House and Garden” on the third day. As the Greenway House is far away from Torque and we did not have a car, we were looking for options to go there. While searching through Internet, we found that there is a... More

Nice to see where Agatha grew up found out some local history while she worked during the war years the hotel also still stands where she spent many of her later years writing beautiful iconic buildings

The house although interesting was shrouded in scaffolding was well worth the visit. We booked a car park space and didn't use the train, ferry or bus as one of our party is disabled

If you are at all interested in Poirot, Miss Marple or Agatha Christie in general you will enjoy all that Torquay offers, from the walk along the seafront to The Grand Hotel where she honeymooned to the Rock Walk high over the Bay. Take a 1940's vintage bus tour or open topped double decker bus.
