To be honest we were very impressed with the Agatha Christie mile. Some spurious links to the great lady is such a shame that impressive buildings such as the pavilion is in disrepair . I feel it's a massive opportunity missed.

We visited Torquay during the Agatha Christie Festival. The AC mile was disappointing, with a leaflet giving poor detail and a terrible map.

We chose to visit Greenway by Vintage Bus and this all added to the experience. It is a fantastic house in an idyllic location. We could imagine ourselves living in this very homely, family house.

We joined the bus at cary parade. Our bus driver was very informative and we learnt a few facts we had not heard before. We were guided on this tour by a local guide who loved what he did and obviously loved Agatha Christie too! We walked for miles from the Physic garden into town and saw all the points worth mentioning in reference to the life of Agatha. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

I also went to places that were not in the Agatha Christie mile. I loved to imagine how Agatha Christie walked and lived in her beloved Torquay (and Galmpton - Greenway House)

This is a worthwhile visit to her summer home. A lovely setting with many options on how to get there. Good for national trust members too.
