This National Property House and Garden is certainly work visiting especially if you are a Agatha Christie buff. The tranquil gardens with lovely views of the Dart river are a sight to enjoy. The gardens are so beautifully maintained and simply lovely to walk around - warning a bit up hill and downdale for those people with problems walking distance... More

Greenway feels as if the Mallowan family just stepped away and allowed the guests to tour the home. It is a wonderful glimpse into their lives on holiday. The collections of china, books, and other artifacts are a delight to view. The grounds could almost require a second trip to really see them all. We chose to ride the vintage... More

Loved it all please allow a full day to enjoy the Greenway experience a National Trust Property of great distinction. To get there catch the vintage bus from lots of locations or arrive by steam train or boat. There is very limited car parking and you need to pre book if you wish to take your car.

We recently booked a trip on the Vintage bus tour to Greenway House. What a fantastic day (although shame the heavens opened and stayed open). We boarded an old vintage bus, the driver Chris was a lovely man who gave us a really informative commentary throughout the journey from Torquay to Greenway House. Although he wasn’t a local he knew... More

The Vintage Bus with its driver giving a very informative commentary during the journey from Torquay was worth the fare. It is the easiest way to visit Greenway. The house was full of interest and the guides in the rooms more than willing to answer questions. The gardens and walkways made the visit very enjoyable There is a tea room... More

We decided to view Agatha Christies house from the river, we took a river cruise boat from Dartmouth and took in the whole of the area by boat. We thought this was well worth the money and saw much more of the area than by driving.
