Having not been to the bar for a while my wife and I found it a little strange at how many changes have taken place. As usual we were greeted at the door by a very pleasant security woman and another young lady from the restaurant. However once we moved upstairs and tried to enter the bar we were informed... More

Only a short tour but well worth the money. As well as the tour a tasting and a free gin and tonic or miniature is included. A great chance to witness one of Britain's best known gins being distilled. The smell is great too!

Was at the distillery last week. It was very informative and filed with history as well as present information. for £7 including £1 discount per bottle and a free gin tonic you can see that the management wants you to visit and simply cover cost. Photos and phones were forbidden once the tour had started. The guide could have explained... More

For £7 you get a 40 mins guided tour on the history and production methods followed by a gin tasting session and a guide through the ingredients used in its production. Afterward you get the choice of a free gin and tonic or a miniature to take away. A very pleasant way to spend an hour. Note, if you want... More

£7 gets you a personal tour of the distillery, a sniff of the ingredients, some history of the brand, a glass of gin and a shot of sloe gin followed by a free drink in their cocktail lounge. Boom!

We booked onto the £20 tour which was an absolute bargain for what we got. The member of staff who led our tour was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic and shared this in a very engaging way. We learnt about the history of Plymouth gin, how it is made and then had a tasting of five different gins. The tasting was... More

My partner and I went to the Plymouth Gin distillery midweek in August. We paid £7 for the basic tour. Tours run every half hour; ours was at 11am. The tour of the distillery lasts about 40 minutes. We were given an interesting overview of the company's history, an explanation of the distilling process and a chance to smell the... More

I am a frequent visitor to the Plymouth Gin Distillery, and about time I sung its praises online! The Distillery tour is interesting, discussing Plymouth history as well as gin history, too. Also, you get to learn about ingredients and have a taste! It is a short tour, but this is to be expected considering the size of the distillery.... More

Despite not being a gin drinker I arrived for the tour with anticipation, accompanied by a group of friends with whom I was on holiday. The first part of the tour involved learning all about the history of the gin and the distillery, which I found very interesting and informative. Next we saw the stills and mixers, before sampling ingredients... More
