Really lovely, stylish yet unpretentious place for a cocktail or two. Friendly staff and amazing drinks. Hunky Dory a bit too busy, but the authentic Gimlet and the Tom Collins were excellent.

we loved everything about our trip we had prebooked the tickets for the tour, it was so interesting about the story off how the factory began, the tour lasted about 30 minutes, and you end up in the Gin Lounge for a free glass of gin,it was the first time I had tasted Sloe Gin I had mine with lemonade... A treat for anyone that loves Gin. We took in the Master Distiller's Tour. Well worth the cost & came away with our own handmade blended 200ml bottled gin. Hic! Then popped upstairs for a G&T on the house. Just perfect.

Very good tour of the distillery and discussion of the history of Plymouth Gin and what goes into the gin distilling process. Convenient location not far from the harbour, all in all a very good experience.

My wife and used to visit the Refectory quite often as we had just moved to Plymouth and enjoyed popping in to have a gin and tonic on a Saturday afternoon. We also enjoyed taking our friends there as the building itself is quite nice and there is certain novelty about drinking gin cocktails in a gin distillery. Prices are... More

My husband and I recently took the Connoisseur's Tour. Well worth the £20. Our guide was Pippa. She was entertaining, funny and very informative. We learnt lots about the history of gin making and the modern process of gin making. Part of the tour also included tasting five different gins and comparing the botanicals used in different gins. if you're... More

Booked a tour for myself and my mother. Very interesting and informative tour that lasts approximately 45 minutes to an hour. As we weren't driving we finished our tour with the free gin and tonic in the bar! Loved the sloe gin too!

I drink Gin ... so I have an interest. But i never knew the origins of gin and found the tour fascinating. We went for the 90 minutes tour and this was long enough and we got to taste five different gins at the end. Very friendly staff, informative tour and pleasant environment. One thing to bear in mind is... More

Educational and a nice way to connect with a part of Plymouth's past. £7 each, kids free and a free G&T to finish. Wish it was longer and shame they weren't distilling today.
