Hmm, nearly a 1 star, almost resurrected to 4, then fell at the last hurdle! Let's start at the beginning shall we - I've visited loads of distilleries so I know the format, but I fancied this little tour mainly because of the distillery's history, synonymous with our Naval Tradition - of which I'm proud! We called in to enquire... More

We booked a cocktail masterclass as a group if girl friends to celebrate one of our 30th birthdays, we didn't know what to expect but we were really impressed. It was excellent value for money. We got to watch five classic cocktails being made and were taught all the techniques sampling all the way!! We then each had a time... More

All dressed up and out for pre-dinner drinks and not even 'allowed' in off the pavement as didn't have membership card on me. Told they can't check a database. Can't think of anywhere else that I have received such a lack of any attempt at customer service. A shame because, along with my friends and colleagues, we USED to use... More

If you like Gin, or not, this is an fascinating 45 minute tour given by a helpful, enthusiastic Lady. The tour starts with the history of Plymouth Gin including how the Gin was introduced to both the Royal Navy and Tonic. Next we visited the Distillery, unfortunately not active at the time of our visit, followed by a hands on... More

I really enjoyed this tour of the gin distillery and learned some very interesting facts about it. I do not drink gin but its nice to know about what it is I serve my guests. It was not too long and I would go again. The guide made it so fascinating and it is worth the visit.

Really surprised at how much I enjoyed this tour! As a non-gin lover I found the tour totally fascinating, the description on the history and the composition of the gin very interesting and the tour was just the right length. Thoroughly recommend.

We did the Connoisseurs Tour and really enjoyed ourselves. We learnt loads about the history of gin and its production. We also learnt a lot about the different ingredients, or spices, which give gins their particular tastes. The guide was great, very passionate, knowledgeable and friendly! The building is also amazing, particularly the upstairs bar where you get to enjoy... More

A great dry martini and friendly staff who are happy to recommend restaurants to out of towners. Will make sure this becomes my destination of choice for pre and post dinner drinks when in Plymouth
