My husband and I recently took the Connoisseur's Tour. Well worth the £20. Our guide was Pippa. She was entertaining, funny and very informative. We learnt lots about the history of gin making and the modern process of gin making. Part of the tour also included tasting five different gins and comparing the botanicals used in different gins. if you're... More

Booked a tour for myself and my mother. Very interesting and informative tour that lasts approximately 45 minutes to an hour. As we weren't driving we finished our tour with the free gin and tonic in the bar! Loved the sloe gin too!

I drink Gin ... so I have an interest. But i never knew the origins of gin and found the tour fascinating. We went for the 90 minutes tour and this was long enough and we got to taste five different gins at the end. Very friendly staff, informative tour and pleasant environment. One thing to bear in mind is... More

Educational and a nice way to connect with a part of Plymouth's past. £7 each, kids free and a free G&T to finish. Wish it was longer and shame they weren't distilling today.

We went here to see about buying some Plymouth gin. We did. Trust me pay the little extra and buy the Plymouth Navy gin and the five trees tonic water. You will not be disappointed. I also learnt that when Plymouth gin was first distilled it was before the use of tonic or mixer so Plymouth gin was such that... More

My Wife and I regularly stop inn Plymouth and have always enjoyed a drink in the cocktail bar, but on this occasion we was refused entry with no explanation forthcoming until we repeatedly ask the doormen why. " You have to be a member sir" was the reply. After what felt an aternity dragging the information out theirs mouths I... More

Have walked past and visited this place many times over the years but had never taken a tour!! Booked the basic £7 each tour for my husbands birthday. The young lady who took us around was very pleasant and informative. We loved hearing about the history of this place and learning about the process in which the Plymouth Gin is... More

We learnt a lot although the tour was rather modest. The distilling process and ingredients are covered in some detail but one sticks to three rooms of which only one relates to the distilling process. The Guide made it the success it was!

I can not comment on the tour although I would imagine it to be excellent. I did just pop into the shop to get a gift for my mum who doesn't live in Plymouth and enjoys the gin.The shop assistant is very much lacking in politeness and good manners. She was very abrupt and seemed genuinely annoyed by having any... More
