We learnt a lot although the tour was rather modest. The distilling process and ingredients are covered in some detail but one sticks to three rooms of which only one relates to the distilling process. The Guide made it the success it was!

I can not comment on the tour although I would imagine it to be excellent. I did just pop into the shop to get a gift for my mum who doesn't live in Plymouth and enjoys the gin.The shop assistant is very much lacking in politeness and good manners. She was very abrupt and seemed genuinely annoyed by having any... More

We went for a little tour as something a bit different for our visit to Plymouth. It's really good value for money at £7 a ticket for a 40 minute tour around the distillery, a gin and tonic and a coupon for the brilliant gift shop. I bought a bottle of their delicious sloe gin.

We visited the distillery for my Dads stag party, because of his preference for gin. We decided on the master tour and we were not disappointed. Harriet our tour guide was wonderful, she clearly new her stuff and presented it in a fun factual way. The gin tasting was great and the gin making was lots of fun. Well worth... More

My girlfriend and I did the Gin Connoisseurs tour. £20 very well spent. The tour lasted around 45 minutes. The tour section is quite short where we were taken though the history of the site and company. However, this was followed by the tasting session. This was took place in the Gin Palace which itself is a great room to... More

The 30 to 40 minute tour of the distillery is just about the right amount of time to understand the history of the Distillery and the building going back from when the Pilgrims set off in the Mayflower for the New World in 1620 up to the present day. Alongside the history of the ancient building it was interesting to... More

I popped in on the off chance there was space on a tour available and luckily there was. The tour lasts about 40 minutes and gives you a great insight into the history of the company, the distilling process and the ingredients used. I didn't know much about gin before I arrived and wasn't sure if I even liked it... More

From the moment we walked in until the complimentary gin and tonic at the end, we felt welcomed and well informed about the history of Plymouth Gin. The guide, Annie, was eloquent and engaging. The Refectory bar upstairs is beautiful, relaxing and the staff again were well informed. Highly recommended.

My partner booked me and herself in for a connoisseurs visit around this attraction. The guide who took us around was very knowledgeable and interesting. The Gin tasting at the end was eye opening. She explained how it was that every gin was slightly different and took us through all the different spices and herbs that could be used in... More

Having been born and raised in Devon I am slightly embarrassed to say, although I have heard and familiar with the distillery, I have only recently visited. And my! What a delightful trip! The tour was very informative, and highly educational. Although, the highlight typically was the free g&t in the impressive bar upstairs. Will be back sooner rather than... More
