Long time since we travelled with Brittany Ferries. Took dog this time, Poole to Cherbourg. Despite my concerns about having to leave the dog in the car he was fine. Doggy cars are on deck 5 with one end open and with that and windows open he was fine. Allowed to visit him and walk him on deck x 1... More

We used to travel to France regularly and were even members of the BF Property Owners Club to take advantage of the discounts available. Since the advent of low cost airlines, our visits to France have become spasmodic: from North Shropshire the hour's drive to Liverpool or Manchester is preferable to the 4+ hours it takes to reach one of... I have been a regular customer of Brittany Ferries for the last 15 years travelling at least twice per annum to both Santander and Roscoff departing from Plymouth. There has been a noticeable decline in the cleanliness of the ships, cabins and attitude of the staff. The expensive restaurants serve would can only be described as food simulations of late,... A few days before we were travelling, due to unforeseen circumstances, we needed to take our daughters dog on holiday with us, but unfortunately all the kennels were full. However, a lovely girl called Anna took the time to monitor the system for us to look out for any cancellations. Anna took the time to call me to keep me... More

Along with a number of motorcycling friends, we booked the Santander to Portsmouth crossing on the Pont-Aven, mainly because we had used the Cap Finistere in the past and it was rubbish. 2 days before our crossing, I received a text message stating that due to engine trouble, the destination had been changed to Plymouth and they had sent an... We have travelled with Brittany Ferries for twenty years, on different sailings. One was a mini cruise which we thoroughly enjoyed!their restaurants are to be thoroughly reccommended. we have travelled on the Pont Aven, Cap Finistere. and can say how much we enjoyed both. We have stayed in both the Commodore Cabins and De Luxe and they are excellent!
