The Plym Valley Cycle Trail runs from Plymouth to Clearbrook. Popular with walkers, runners and cyclists. Well worth the effort and can be extended to Yelverton and Tavistock.

Nice cycle trail, slight incline as you head out towards the moors, this will become apparent when cyclists often speed past you on their return journey and you will be able to take it easy on the way back if travelling towards coypool. A word of caution though, this trail is enjoyed by walkers, many with dogs, runners and families... More

As the title suggests! This is an easy cycle, rising gently from either Saltram House (NT), Marsh Mills Industrial Estate or Plymbridge Woods. The surface is excellent although leaves can be an issue in autumn / winter. Lights are advisable for the tunnel.

This is literally two minute walk from my home. Although listed as a cycle trail it is just as nice for walk. People in powered wheelchairs also use it. You can walk for a good two hours along that trail and not see a car. It really is a place for everyone and anyone. For those of us with mobility... More

A magical place to go walking. Recommended for walkers and cyclists. Beautiful river and canals. Suitable for all ages and all year round as a sheltered valley

It is a great way to spend with family. It is okay for wheelchairs, better with powered ones as less work is to be done. It goes right up towards Dartmoor and then up to Exmoor I think. I have never tried it but heard it is very good and I have seen photos on the internet. I hope anyone... More

Something for everyone here. The cycle path is a shared path so it's great for walkers too. Lots of places to explore along the way with handy information points about what birds and plants to look out for (courtesy of the National Trust) The cycle path takes you over some viaducts and the views are tremendous. You can also go... More

Great place for a walk or cycle. People must remember is a path and a cycle trail. So please walkers and cyclists must be good to one another. They could do with clearing the path of leaves soon, they have done a short stretch Coypool end.
