We did this trail with a buggy trailer and a tag along. We started at bnq roundabout to miss out on busy roads. The pathis gentle incline uphill all the way - hard going after a few miles for novice riders but the views are amazing. The pub at the end - nice cold cider, that then sold out so... More

We would thoroughly recommend this cycle ride, especially for those who may not be that experienced. Being built along the old railway line there are no steep inclines, just a gradual push uphill (& much easier on the way back down again). Wonderful scenery & at this time of year (May) all the trees coming into leaf & plenty of... More

Having run, walked and cycled this route I can recommend it for all 3. There are peregrine falcons to see and possibly the odd deer. From the viaducts you get stunning views of the plym valley and you can head to the moor if you fancy a long ride. There is even a huge tunnel further up the trail. It... More

I've had a fantastic day out, my wife and our daughters, the trail was easy enough for my wife as a learner, while the girls had much fun riding along the trail and enjoying fantastic view.

My hubby and I only bought mountain bikes last year (April 2013), after about 20 years of not cycling. So certainly for me, our very first cycle up through the Plym Valley was a bit of a challenge until I mastered using the gears! But we have now cycled here on numerous occasions and it really is a lovely place... More

I have been here many times over the years and I can say this is one of the most beautiful areas of outstanding natural beauty! It is a must for any visitor. The only thing you need to watch out for when you are walking on the cycle route, is simply, the cyclists themselves! A small minority do use it... More

Well paved and maintained cycleway. Start at Marsh Mills Park & Ride and just follow the signs. An enchanting route through some wonderful countryside, viaducts, bridges, tunnels and then Dartmoor ! Simply wonderful. If you don't have your own bike, hire bikes available from B & Q car park. Pack a PicNic, take as long as you like, it's downhill... More

Parked at the B&Q carpark, and set off by the side of the heritage railway. Going up the slight incline to the beginning of Dartmoor. Along the way we stopped on the top of bridges overlooking outstanding scenary, plus birdwatchers let us view a nesting pair of rare UK birds. Once at the top, on dartmoor we had our lunch.... More

The path is absolutely great for family day. My daughter (6) just started and this is definitely place for her. It's flat, it's easy and it's family friendly. There are great experience along with long tunnels, bridges and historic sides. The only downside is that at some point there is very steep on the road side sometimes. Saying so, if... More
