Great path

A great cycle path that brings you up to dartmoor. Always busy on sunny days. Beware of people bringing dogs with no leads

We recently cycled this as part of a journey from Plymouth to Cardiff. Very impressed by the standard of the trail and the amazing tunnels - make sure you have good lights fitted as it's pretty dark in there!

I have spent many a pleasant day on the Plym Valley Cycle Trail, not just on bikes but on foot too. The trail follows an old railway, many years disused, but you can find evidence of its past along the route. It goes through beautiful woodland, following the beautiful river Plym. There is lots of history along the trail and... More

The trail is great either on a bike or walking, especially knowing there is a pub at the end of it for a spot of lunch or just a pint! If you're lucky you may also get an ice cream when you return to your car! Being popular with families you do have to look out for children who can... More

Took my brother and sister in law here whilst they visited and they were impressed, especially seeing peregrines nesting. Helpful staff who showed you where to look through their telescopes to see the birds. One thing I would say, be careful if you have young children with you as lots of people go there walking their dogs and don't keep... More

a well maintained flat cycle track, plenty of parking at Plymbridge, safe for a family day out on the bikes. The track now links up all the way to Yelverton and then onto Tavistock if you fancy a long ride.
