Visited last night with a group of colleagues . Despite having live music there was only 3 other people in the place . The drinks were all served with a smile by the lone bar maid . Luckily there was enough of us in our group to make our own atmosphere

Booked a party that was held on a Saturday night in Lavish. Staff were unbelievably helpful, nothing was too much trouble they even helped get the food from the car! The rooms were set up with balloons, tables set for the food and included napkins, plates etc. was literally a matter of just turning up!! The separate areas worked really... More

We went here expecting some atmosphere and reasonable priced drinks, nothing of the sort, rude staff, bad service, avoid.

Is a little dated as some have said and drinks are a bit pricy. However, both in my opinion don't matter because the staff were brilliant and very chirpy and pleasant to talk to as were the doormen.

Very dated. Feels like something from the 1990s. Long narrow place. Came in a couple of times last year and once on a free night since Christmas. Doesn't seem to attract a lively or particularly friendly or stylish crowd. There are so many places round here that laying to get in is definitely not worth it.

Booked the function room For my sisters 21st birthday party we were told that for £200 pound we would get the room from 7pm-12am a dj, our own security and decorations. Once we arrived at 7 we had to wait an hour to get in the room! Once we got in we saw that the decorations were just a few... More

Paid £2 for entry, door staff friendly. Drinks were ok but ran out of Malibu so couldn't have anymore Malibu based cocktails. No toilet roll in any of the ladies toilets. As the military do in Afghanistan I wiped with my hand only to find no hand soap and hand dryer not working. Made attendant in toilet vocally aware if... More

Visited here recently on a Friday and whilst the drinks were a reasonable price the place was pretty empty at around midnight, with the dance floor only occupied by a few 'odds and ends'. The upper floor wasn't open and there were virtually no queues at the bar. Service was friendly and helpful and I would return if the place... More

I booked the hire room upstairs in early January for my daughters birthday party in May. I was guaranteed the room with exclusivity for my daughter and the 70+ people invited to the party. We booked the room and paid the deposit. Then with only 4 weeks to go until the party and my daughters 18th birthday, the company phoned... More

Affectionately known to locals as 'Chavish' this is a long established club that began as Dudleys wine bar/bistro in the 70s and has been through a steady evolution to it's present incarnation as a late evening drinking bar with a dance floor. It has a reputation for being virtually trouble free. Some daytime food and sometimes a restaurant this is... More
