Visited with family. Daughters enjoyed climbing as part of a taster session, nice atmosphere, good instructor, lots of positive encouragement. Good equipment / layout.

Great youth climbing club, very professional but relaxed and friendly. Lots of challenges for all abilities. Clip and climb next door. Would have scored an excellent if they had disabled access to the café upstairs.

Have enjoyed the challenges of climbing here despite my beginner status, yet have found my more experienced friend are also pushed to their limits within the same building. Enough lines and space to mean not having to wait around much and with Clip'n'Climb in the same building and the Quay side on the doorstep plenty for the rest of the... More

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to the guys at Quay Climbing Centre. A special day was had by all not to mention the superb instruction we receieved. I attended the session with a small group of young people from work and a few adults. I'm not sure who had the best time. We'll be back again thanks... More

This review is for the clip'n'climb section only. An excellent facility, auto belays allow for solo visitors - which my son was. Enquired on web and advised to pre-book which we did, as we were visitors to the area. The clip'n'climb is very colourful with a range traditional climbing bolt ons / novel climbs / rope ladder and a chimney... More

A real asset to have in Exeter but with room for improvement. The route setting is a little unimaginative at times, though there's plenty to choose from. The height of the main section is impressive and even a little intimidating! Could be cheaper, particularly the monthly and yearly deals. Renting the shoes, harnesses etc. is very overpriced and it's very... More

The ever-changing routes in this fabulously family friendly climbing centre provide more than enough to keep both beginners and experienced climbers happy. There are also 2 boulder rooms. There is a good mix of top rope and lead routes, as well as auto-belays. Whatever your level, there is something for you, including courses and competitions. Children's holiday and after school... Booked a session for two children aged 9 and 13 at clip n climb. This is an amazing experience that was worth the money - £12.50 each despite a large number of participants in the group. Many parents helped out with clipping and in clipping which maximised climbing times The climbing centre itself is very large with a serious amount... More
