Good couple of hours for the kids

Good climbing wall for kids and grown ups too. Clip and climb is a great idea. Shame it costs extra for the leap of faith.

I wanted to start learning to climb as my dad had done so many years ago. I went straight to learning how to climb and really enjoyed the experience I had while learning to climb. I eventually started to get good at doing 'top rope' climbing and went on to lead 'lead' climbing, I was again treated to professional coaching... More

The Quay climbing centre, as well as having excellent facilities, courses, etc., have extremely experienced staff. They are particularly good with youngsters and I would recommend anybody with a child that expresses an interest to come down and give it a try. The only drawback is the limited bouldering areas, but there are other places in the area that cater... More

Great place for active kids, well run, we take our children (9+11) to the clip'n'climb bit. Easy to book online, good thorough induction, great routes to climb. Lovely way to spend a rainy afternoon and build your kids confidence.. and you can do it with them too.

This place is something else. Set up in a very nice old building just off the quay and river. If you are into climbing walls etc then you will really have fun here. This site has been very well thought out and put together with a large variety of climbing devices to test your skills.

Great fun, good instruction from the guide. Constantly gave us harder and harder things to try and an hour was definitely enough!

Grandson loves it and well run, no bad points, good for birthday partys. Wish there was one nearer to Torquay.

We are a fifty something married couple from Somerset looking for a fresh, new challenge and we have always wanted an attempt at climbing. We telephoned The Quay Climbing Centre on Friday at 10am and spoke to a member of staff, called Tammy, to arrange a booking, sadly there were no official slots available and as I explained that this...
